Hi Richard. This bike actually does have a torque sensor, not a cedence sensor. Looking forward to your review of this new ebike, I think Lectric has hit it out of the park with all the features at this price point!

Was going to say this too. Regular lectric PWR is nothing special. Rather than the controller targeting a specific speed which can be jerky feeling PWR (pedal assist wattage regulation) simply feeds fixed amounts of wattage to the motor at each assist level giving supposedly a smoother experience..

It looks like a nice bike. My Ranger S is a survivor and I am still loving it since it has survived a house fire and a hurricane all within the last few months without any damage to it.

I own a commuter bike from Aventon with the 27.5" x 2.2" tires.i like it. Makes it quiet and maneuverable. It has a nice gear set..so, I like the Lectric Press.

You don't like the swept back cause you are tall, us verically challenged, older folks do appreciate not having to stretch out to reach the handles.

If I were to get this I'd get the step over model with regular handlebars and then maybe put some slightly knobbier tires on it to make it like a regular mountain bike. I was looking for something like the xpeak but I don't need something that extreme just something that can handle poorly maintained beat up pavement and gravel roads.
