I rode one of these, branded as a Pickman, yesterday at the Electrify Expo. I was impressed with the smoothness of the power delivery and balance of the bike. Since it was a closed course I think I got up to 33 mph, but it definitely went on the list. Cost is a concern, but the extra $2k over Ryvvd for double the range and 10+ mph top speed makes it a serious contender.

Love this. Possible content idea: I'm an e-bicycle rider who's getting interested in e-motorcycles, but I'm not interested in maintaining/riding/owning combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles. When I ask the local motorcycle peeps this question they immediately say "oh no you don't want that e-crap and steer me towards buying a cheap ICE bike telling me I could just sell it later, and I check out of the convo immediately. I don't wanna argue with them, I'm just not into what they're into. All of the local classes want me to use their bikes and spend a lot of time on clutch work and ICE-related maintenance which seems antiquated and not a great use of time either, given I just want to learn how to ride an e-moto. So a "what if your first moto is electric?" might be a great video idea.

Just tell them you are going to ride a scooter no clutch no bs. And ya I was paying 160 just for a damn oil change and you where lucky to get an apointment. My freind rides a harley and that is 300 for an oil change, ya good luck, e rides finally with a descent range and speed. 35 mph top speed is pointless. Others complain about 8k for a bike with only tires and brakes maintenance perhaps is not expensive.

Its cool if it works properly. Surronster had a ton of issues with the weight sensor putting him into snail mode in the middle of the street and eventually it left him stranded. For $7k thats absolutely absurd.

I've had this bike just as long and put far more miles on it. A lot of his "issues" could have been avoided. The seat sensor was a preproduction problem that has been permanently fixed. :)

I like that you can plug it into a level 2 charger. A lot of bikes in this class can only be charged by a 110V plug. I think I would want to black it out, removing all the bright yellow flashy bits. I would be interested on removing the plastic on the forks too to make it look less "Tron", more traditional.

Ok, That was a truly great review of the Naxeon! Great job! 👏 Was hoping Stone Age Mode would include time travel to the distant past along with a force a field to protect me from cave men if I took off with one of their women to present day. Likely not.. & No Anti-gravity mode? Bummer. Tho cool, not sure if I'd need all the bells, light's & sounds? However you explained all that very well! 👍 Been getting along quite fine with regular rudimentary motorcycle stuff since 1972...but then that bike is very cool, plus you did an outstanding job explaining everything! I could get one, ride it, without reading the manual thanks to your video. You should be a technical writer? Been subscribed for a few years & have many gas bikes & numerous e-bikes, some made from golf carts that I've had speeding tickets with on the highway, Oops 😬 The e-bike dyno is great 👍

Zero finally has real competition. I believe that the cheapest Zero bike is the FX $12K+ goes up to 102miles on a single charge and top speed is 85mph (will fluctuate with weight, tempt, et). What hurts EV market is price especially when it comes to motorcycles is that they are not only competing with the EV market but also with gas motors. The reason that a person may opt for an EV over gas is more than likely due to incentives (depending on where they live), and because they don't want to deal with the clutch. If the price came down to $6500 they wouldn't be able to keep them on the shelf, buy given tax, title, license a buyer is looking at $9,500.

A "boost" mode on any electric motorcycle is stupid; full power all the time in "sport" mode is a must. I like the looks and all the high-tech features of this new futuristic EV bike but it's more of an electric "bike" and not a motorcycle. I did see Sur Ronster's video review of this new Naxeon i AM as well, and he had sooooo many problems with it that I felt very good about my order for the new Ryvid Outset! I think this company and this new Naxeon has lots of potential especially with s/w updates and high-tech features...and hoping other EV motorcycle companies like Ryvid and others will take notice of the integrated high-tech features of this EV bike to incorporate into their EV motorcycles in the near future. So, bottom line for me is that this Naxeon i AM may just be a catalyst for improvements to ALL the new electric motorcycles but for me, I am not interested in the first edition with all the s/w bugs and potential issues on an $8k electric bike (which is $2k more than the Ryvid Outset that doesn't have all the newer high-tech s/w features at this point, but that's okay for me...a new motorcycle rider. ;-)

Outset with asi is faster and much quicker off the line. I'd go ryvid for performance and naxeon for range or tech features.

It would be nice if you could have the Speedometer or Dash behind the rear camera (Picture-In-Picture) and the ability to change the Field of View. This should be possible with a OTA update.

I test drove one yesterday and had 3 deal-breaker issues: the seat is way too narrow and is too firm because of the sensors, the footpegs need to be farther forward, and the handlebar is too low.

They don’t check and they don’t care to check. They just send the plate and registration. I registered one out of curiosity because I read online that they will send the plate without checking.

I live in nyc home of everything being stolen whats the safest way to lock this to something since its typically threw the back tire but this has a hub. Also a big brand over here is called fly e bike they have ones that are like motorcycle both gas an electric and they cost about 3k and can double mount i didnt see and pegs on the back does that mean i cant bring my "backpack"?

Nice bike for the price. But it does need a rear rack and the ability to mount a top box. Not everyone can or wants to wear a backpack. Saddlebags are nice but a rear rack and removable top box are better, i.m.o.

I've watched all the videos about the Naxeon and they all had good things to say about the bike. I just wish someone could clarify the seat height or would this bike be fitting for someone between 5'5" to 5'7" in height? No one seems to cover the basics of a riders question.

They were out at the electrify expo in Seattle the last couple of days. Could be a delay in response time. Other than that I've met several members of their team, they've been to my shop multiple times and have been extremely attentive. They're in this for the long haul.
