Odd, I have batts with the same markings. It outputs 8.4V fully charged. Seems this version is just 2 cells in series with no voltage regulator. Really about the same voltage as NiCad or NiMh batts. They seem to work well. I hate 9V batts as they are the most expensive. The EBL batts work but seem to need recharging in a few months. In one device, I was able to cut a hole in the case to allow the USB cable to plug in.

Can I use my 12v 6amp charger for that? It's the only lithium charger I have, for motorcycle batteries.

The most important measurement. Maximum disharge. Could these babies put out 2 amps for a couple of minutes?

Most batteries like these have built in discharge protection. You would be lucky to max out at 150mA max discharge rate.
