I wasn’t that happy when I heard they were doing a new cast for Fantastic 4, because I loved the cast of the 2 most recent movies. Then I heard Ebon and Pedro were cast and I am so excited.

The two most recent movies had different casts. Unless we're just not even qualifying Fant4stic as a movie, which...fair enough, honestly. That thing was a mess. I think a clean break is the best chance of a good and sustainable version of FF. Especially considering the Tim Story FF movies had Johnny Storm played by the same actor who went on to play Captain America in the MCU, and the new movie is part of the MCU. Not that they haven't had actors play two roles before (Ebon himself was in the Punisher series as Micro), but Captain America was one of the main ones.

@@Swenglish OK I forgot about Fant4stic. I guess I just am a big Chris Evans fan, and in interviews he has said he wouldn’t mind revisiting that role, and he’s made it clear he’s done with Cap. They weren’t super recent interviews. His version of Johnny Storm was really fun. I’m 💯 onboard now, though. Pedro and Ebon will be great. Don’t know the other actors well enough to have an opinion.

I wouldn't be shocked if Chris Evans has a small role in Deadpool & Wolverine, since that's a whole post-Fox exodus (Foxodus?) thing. It seems like a no-brainer idea.
