Speak truth to power and be real but choose your battles wisely and be mindful of how you're being heard. Great job Eboni K. I am a black man (Navy Veteran) and intentionally steered my sons to pursue higher education because it's the gateway to success and influence. My youngest son is currently a student at the Naval Academy and my other two are local college students. It's important to be as you say "intentional". Also my hat is off to your mother who was definitely intentional. Congrats on the book.

My point is that Eboni Williams is flip-flopping and changing sides to suit whatever will further her own career.
