Eric the racism, segregation and discrimination is in the air. Is in everywhere, any country. As species we are too territorial. Someone in your family or in my family is telling us every day every minute to hate every person that has strange colors in the whole world. Isn’t just white and black. I’m a black male but my family was middle class long ago so we were well educated. My family lived among white neighborhoods and I remember my father telling me “ don’t meet people from the low lying life area and also the whites. So the problem cross from father to son. Luckily for me I broke the chain but causing a lot damage in the family prides. I married with a white woman and I have 2 children but my father never likes her and my daughter.

I woke up today with this song in my head. Thank you God for creating Paul and Stevie.
One of my old time favorites nearly 40yrs on and we could all do with still listening to this and taking note. We are not the colour of our skin, we are all born of Adam thus we are all equal human beings 🌹 If only life could be like this the world would be a Better Place ❤

OMG that's so funny. I was 14 and doing the same thing. Pac-man and donkey kong were the two top video games of the day. I so remember those days. Fantastic.
There are certain 80’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.

Isso sim que é música. Melodia, arranjo perfeitos, e letra perfeita.

I love this song. Just listen to the lyrics of this song. They're such beautiful lyrics. Although I hadn't listened to this song in a great while, I started crying. Just like the question of "Why can't we all just get along?"...the keys on either a synthesizer or a piano. They get along just fine, but not people of color. We're not that different. We bleed the same color.

IQ differences and all kinds of resentment (over slavery, Apartheid, the Holocaust, the Crusades etc.) make the situation way more complex than the keys on a piano or the color of our blood. At some point people are going to separate again because this 1982 dream is never going to come true. It's been a disaster and things only got worse, all the way up to the present day.

Yes we do. I don't want to not see color. I want a world where we all recognize different cultures and colors, and embrace them. We don't need to all be the same, that would be boring. I want Indian food, I want Ethiopian food, I want greasy spoon white guy diner food, I want Mexican food, I want authentic Chinese food, I want sushi. The same goes for music. Variety is the spice of life. I don't want all of us to be the same, I just want all of us to be equal. If you want everyone to assimilate to one culture, you are missing out on so much awesomeness that other people can offer you. We are all different, but we are all the same. One love.
