One of my favorite local poets said he was tired of rape poems... minutes after I performed one about my sisters rape. Another black man... I was literally in shock. I know a lot of people don’t know the power their tongue holds, you’d think a poet does though, right? Sick.

Thank you your poems have touched my heart. Hello Ebony... Ebony is a beautiful name. Is this fact or fiction? Is there really a ignorant white female that stated she tied of reality? That what it is...Rape is never going to be old news.
