This is what happens, if you have this plenty soldiers in a tiny country , with all weapons and they have no job to do... so they will spend there energies like this unnecessarily bilahi, killing and turning against the innocent civilians , who are all unarm . Reduce this plenty soldiers teach them trades let them work, go to there barracks, is smoking, drinking , drug junkyards 🥲🤔

Absolutely spot on, I agree with everything you say - The Gambia does NOT need an army at all. All the country needs is a professional police force paid a decent wage and properly trained. The Gambian Army has historically just been used to control the citizens when they get tired of corrupt killer despots. The British would never stand by and allow the country to be threatened by another larger nation (same in Sierra Leone). Instead of wasting money on armed forces the money could be spent providing reliable electricity, building more tarmac roads and giving the people a better health system. Africa already has too many weapons which are too often turned on innocent poor people.

Those responsible for killing those poor innocent Ghanaian boys should serve life at Mile 2.
