EC4RURAL | 1st Online Workshop to Exchange Experiences | Joint Session 2/3

The EC4RURAL project continues to advance in the implementation of the pilots in Spain and Estonia with the celebration of an online workshop where the partners shared the work done since last September 2023.
This virtual meeting took place on Tuesday 11th June in two sessions to update partners on the state of both pilots in Spain and Estonia, as well as to share and overview the progress of this project.
In the first part, common to both countries and in English, participated the University of Vigo (coordinators), Sapiens Energia, the University of Tartu (UTARTU) and the Association of Estonian Cities and Municipalities (AECM). Through their interventions, participants were be able to take the status of implementation of community energy in relation to renewable energy. They also talk about the obstacles encountered in the implementation of energy transition and community energy in both countries and at EU level.
