EC90 Power saddle seat from China, looks like a Specialized Power Saddle

I recently picked one up for $30. Having a real Power saddle...the quality is nowhere near the real ones which I paid $120 each....but...it is every bit as comfortable as the real ones. The shape is identical. The "EC90" shell is a lot more flexible than the real one. That could be seen as good or bad. The flex can be viewed as adding a bit more comfort by flexing...but at the same time...the flexing could cause the saddle to break down faster...especially if you're a heavy rider. Mine came out to 206gr on my scale. Overall I do like the saddle for what it cost.

I have the EC-90 on several of my bicycles besides the Pro Mimic. I like the EC-90, never had an issue, it supports my sit bones perfectly, just as good as the Mimic.

Works very very well. As a first test In 4h I did 110km with 1300m acent Without any issue. Could ride easly next day

@@filthyMTB Out of curiosity , whats your primary saddle right now? My bike came with an syncros xr 2.0 132mm and it's absolute torture for me. I think it's to narrow.

J'ai acheté cette selle EC90 pour monter sur mon VTT, je possède déjà deux vraies selles Specialized Power sur mes deux vélos de route dont je suis très satisfait au niveau du confort, je voulais tenter l'expérience sur mon VTT et j'ai vu cette selle EC90 10x moins cher que la vraie Power, je me suis donc laisser tenter par le prix bas de cette selle. A la réception de la selle EC90, j'ai été plutôt agréablement surpris, elle ressemble visuellement comme deux gouttes d'eau à la vraie Power, la coque sort du même moule, par contre cette même coque est beaucoup plus souple sur l'EC90 comme montré dans la vidéo, elle n'est pas renforcé au carbone comme la vraie Power. A l'essai sur mon VTT, les premiers kilomètres ont été correct, mais après une heure de selle la sensation de souplesse de la coque est très désagréable, ça provoque des échauffements au niveau des ischions, et ce n'est pas du tout confortable, bref le confort de cette copie de la Power n'a rien de comparable avec la vraie Power, ce n'est qu'une pâle copie chinoise, je l'ai donc démonté de mon vtt et acheté une vraie Power, j'ai perdu 16 euros sur Ebay avec cette fausse selle EC90. Je ne recommande pas du tout cette selle EC90, un conseil passer votre chemin.

Is it "the EC90 products look just like various brand name products"? OR is it more like those brand name guys actually have their production based in China ...so these Chinese products are basically the same thing as the brand name stuff??? Like the Chinese companies "borrow" the design from the brand name guys, then manufacture their own stuff with their own logos. Just wondering. 🤔
