My question was always “if the plastic is so great why not just make the rebel o with the new plastic?”

Use this head short and as pole. Weight is noticeable first couple of times but you get used to it. If you can’t handle a couple ounces you should hit the gym😬🧬🥍🏋️♂️

Baby wrists are REAL my man. On a more serious note, just a reminder that my comments on lacrosse stick weight always have to do with feel, not performance. Obviously an ounce here or there isn't going to affect your game in any significant way, but having a stick that feels wrong in your hands can mess with your head in a way that WOULD affect your game in a significant way.

What makes it better than a Mark 2T/D? What about the Ultra Power? Those 3 heads are the ones that come to my mind as the best LSM or D heads.

All great heads, but the DNA holds its shape much better throughout the season

In my opinion, the 2T is close, but not nearly as strong as the Rebel, and also cants forward a bit too much over time. The 2D is much too forwardly canted in my opinion, as well as too wide up top, which limits your pocket option. The rebel is MUCH stronger than the Ultra Power, and the UP is the most canted forward of all of those heads, meaning your only option is a stick with a ton of whip.

So Chris do you think that head weight for d poles is not as important as for short sticks? It still is a heavy head and I want to know why you consider the heavy weight not as a big of deal for a d pole.

d poles are heavier and make the head feel lighter? it's balanced out
@mainelymesh4 жыл бұрын
It all comes down to balance. You're looking at shaft weights of 350+ grams, so the head is a smaller percentage of the overall weight. Also, the way the level created by your hand placement works on a pole, the stick is always going to be top heavy, so a light head won't feel as abnormal. In a perfect world, you always want the lightest head possible, but for a pole, strength is so much more important due to the abuse it takes vs. a short stick, that I'm fine with the weight of the DNA on a pole.

i’m a beginner and i’m on my jv team ( i live in the south so this sport is pretty new) but my coach told me that this season i’ll be a defensive midfielder this year because i’m fast and aggressive, would this head be a good fit? i’m not a lsm
