That Kings Crown is THE pinnacle of EMTB cargo bikes. Thanks I really like my very similar E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown. I use it for hunting and camping here in NEVADA. 2 wheel drive, 2 Samsung batteries, Dual suspension and great TEKTRO Dorado 4 piston brakes. Dave Cleveland knows how to design great EMTBs.

They are Great bikes! I love my Super Monarch 1500 HE and like you, I use it for hunting. The KC just makes the ride so smooth.

Hi, from a former lycra-wearing, super lightweight bike-riding cyclist. In defense of some of my former cycling buds, my group avoided bike paths like the plague to avoid other trail users. We stuck to roads. While I'm a very friendly guy and normally say hi, wave, or at least nod to others I pass. I do get into a zone that some call sleeping on the bike. On long rides, occasionally I'll realize I have no memory whatsoever of the last 5-10 miles I just rode. Since I would have crossed several busy roads without getting killed I must be paying attention to some degree. I still do this with my e-bikes, although not as much. I am sure I pass people without acknowledging them. I have friends and family that tell me all the time they see me riding and I didn't notice them.

I know exactly what you're saying as I was in the same mode 40 years ago😊 it's sad to pull up next to a guy waiting for traffic to clear and say, how's it going. The look of WTF you want is unbelievable. No hi or anything for a response. People in this area are just totally rude. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Another great video Larry! I enjoy your commentary on the KC (because of you I chose the KC over the 5-Star).
@LarrysViews2 ай бұрын
Thanks Dale! The 5 star is a great bike but the Monarch way out shines it. Then I bought the KC, well, you know the rest😊 Thanks again for the compliment and I do appreciate you checking out my videos👍

I don’t own either, but for the price based and specs on the website the Monstar looks like the go to ride between the 2.

@@MrBalas3I have to agree👍
@daleloch10892 ай бұрын
@@MrBalas3It really depends on what you are looking for. The Monstar will drink battery juice very quickly but will lack the comfort of the KC. Fun Factor for the Monstar; heck yes! The ride quality, safety features and technology put into the KC is unmatched.

@@daleloch1089I will more likely get the StepStar on the next sale. At almost 6’5” and with my current bike being a foldable step through it feels easier to get off with me having the saddle quite high for the leg extension. Just wish they responded better. I emailed and left a message about a torque sensor to add to the order. Never heard back 😢. So will wait. They constantly change their website. I’m 80% just commuting and grocery shopping. And with videos people getting for sure 35 m.p.h. is realistically enough for me. But customer service is important and feel a little concerned about that at the moment.

Hey Larry! I’m in a city close to yours that has a trails. I jump on it on MKL Dr. and take it to Clark RD. I wonder if it connects somewhere in Lake Station or Hobart going east!? I’m looking forward to owning an KC E-Cell soon! 25:15

Trail comes out right in the middle of new round about on 51 in Hobart. Duneland Trail right next to Trail Blazers bike shop.

I wonder how the monstar compares to this bike, espcially with the price difference
@LarrysViews2 ай бұрын
@julianlobo7838 I'm pretty certain it won't be as smooth a ride. At 1k less it doesn't have the KKE Fork, rear rock shox, maxxis tires, Shimano Deore. I thought my Monarch was a Cadillac of bikes until I rode the KC 2000.

Do you run usually with one or both motors?
@LarrysViews2 ай бұрын
I get the best performance running both motors. Rarely do I only run one.

You should buy a new battery or 2.Think about it, batteries are only good for so many cycles.If you have four of them and use them evenly your batteries will last a longer time than just having the ones on the bike
@LarrysViewsКүн бұрын
Very true. A single battery for this bike is $600. I guess I'll see how generous Santa is this year😊
