Excellent review. I'm running a similar build only difference is I'm using the Sensor Hack talent that gives me extra damage to drones and extra drone evasion. I agree that Pistolero and Slim Shadow are essential to get the most out of this build. I'm having tons of fun and the Echelon class has replaced the Panther class as my new favorite play style. I have to admit that every once in awhile I miss the Smoke Screen class ability from the Panther when things go awry and get out of hand. Other than that I'm having a blast!

Echelon plus deagle survival variant equals strongest pistol for stealth, the deagle variant has a suppressor while the normal does not get one.

Only just picked up Breakpoint in a Black Friday offer. Playing Pathfinder right now as a "classic GR1/2/GRAW" character. The radar ping here is straight out of GR Online/Phantoms and would work so well for a "Future Soldier" style character.

You get the full Splinter Cell 4th Echelon outfit by completing all of the Deep State DLC missions. You’ll need the Year 1 Pass in order to get access to them.

I must agree that Echelon is an excellent class but I still lean more toward assault due to the extra health, the auto heal after killing enemies and the gas grenade to slow down charging enemies. I only wish that it had lmg proficiency as well

Echelon and Panther are only for a player who like playing stealth, not a loud and proud. Nomad is a Ghost, stealth and tactical are the proper style for that character.

Might be a stupid question, but how do i get ammo for the electric gun in the Echelon class? Refilling the Special ability doesnt work. Do i have to go to a bivouac to refill it? And the other thing is, it has only one "bullet" stock, do i have to Finish deep state to get two bullets Stock and then Upgrade it in the skills menu to get three?

Cellox36 you have to go to the Bivouac to refill it. You should get 3 total, but if it’s still stuck at one, then get the Specialized Item Carrier passive abilities in the skills menu (the ones where you get +1 to your class item capacity.)

Hey bud. Gamescon sale has breakpoint on a pretty deep discount. It's 15 bucks for the standard edition and 25 for gold edition. My concern is that if I buy standard edition that I won't get access to echelon and engineer class ( I believe that's the other). Can you recall if these two classes are paywalled? Thanks so much. I don't usually buy DLC until I find I enjoy the game enough to play through to run out of content and from what I've seen, the pass ( gold edition) only includes deep state and amber sky missions which if I can save the ten bones right now for two whole missions but still get access to all classes, I'd prefer that.

Jordan Pierce I generally play in Immersive Mode, and I think it’s a good class for coop due to the marking ability.

With the sonar it gives you and your friends less time to spend on drones so the flow of the game can be consistent also even in coop you can go solo as long as you cover your tracks

M1911 is a great all rounder but any other pistol with decent range and accuracy will suffice. As for SMGs, I reccomend either the Vector or Scorpion (any version)

When i aim my handgun when enemies are alerted, i thought we should get auto aimed headshots. I seem only to hit the chest not a head shot.I think im doing something wrong. Great review though

Venom GT72 I have noticed that it’s harder to hit enemies with the Reflex shot if they are moving quickly or running. In my last stream on Sunday I’ve had times where I would initially lock on to where the enemies’ head was, but by the time I took the shot they already moved. The Reflex shot is best used when your undetected or when enemies are alerted but do not know where you’re at.

Dark Executor that’s going to take some more testing to figure out, however I was mostly using the SC-IS (the handgun that you get from the first Deep State mission) when I was playing Echelon. I also used the Mk23 and the Maxim 9 a little bit.

@@PenguinOverlord I tried the SC-IS it's really good but it's recoil is difficult to control as the echelon class is based around handguns was looking for a handgun with good recoil etc . Was trying the maxim 9 but I didn't like it

@@scottgomes648 Try equipping the Ballistic Advantage perk. It not only applies to all weapons, it also has +30 handling. My favorite pistol is the FN FiveSeven which has punishing recoil and Ballistic Advantage seems to help with that.

ツHypno that’s a good question, and one I think I’ll explore in a future video. But I will say that I prefer using Echelon when playing stealthily, I only use Panther when I’m farming drones areas for resources.

I also prefer the echelon class because if you’re able to aim well, you can actually EMP a helicopter in the sky. Not sure if it was mentioned in the video, but it’s another useful tool for taking down enemy helicopters.

The Sonar vision is the one thing I hate about this class. I think having Batman vision is cheating and takes away from the immersive nature of the game. You wouldn't known where ever enemy is in real life so having a sonar wave you can send out is unrealistic in my opinion.

@@devilmayclarify666 I have. Its not about difficulty, its about the AI being smarter and dynamic . The difficulty should not just an increase in their sensitivity of sound and damage they deal. Again ubisofts biggest issue is they have a quantity over quality approach to their games , even when they update they either add or take away stuff. This new difficulty and immersion mode is basically a toggle for quantity. Which is not bad, its a good step but where you add more quantity and quality remains the same, you end up noticing the lack of quality even more.

@@Kimkong2 Sorry, I was being cheeky. Can you give example scenarios of good AI in a real open-world tactical shooter? As for Breakpoint, from a gameplay perspective, I know of some exploits, particularly when sniping from over 200m, but that's it. Furthermore, the enemies will do things like scatter from groups if they don't know where the player is, or they'll change position if you snipe at their position once -- and of course, there's how they either charge or sneak up on the player depending on the alertness level. Personally, I can't recall a singleplayer shooter where I felt more like prey than Breakpoint, but maybe you misspoke about the "prey" part? To me, the main issue in Breakpoint appears to be the 3Cs - like how guns 'remember' the last aiming mode, or how you can't cancel some animations in unintended situations. Mind you, I just started playing over the free-to-play weekend, so my impressions, albeit not soiled by the initial release, are still forming.
