For immersive mode, I use the Flycatcher skin and use Flycatcher's P90 and the Terminator GRL. I focus on drone use and speedy movement to wreak havok in more places than one. So basically I use the perks to make the P90 more accurate while using the enhanced bullets, I tag enemies while my sync shot drones and deploy my personal drone to watch my back while I run around taking tangoes down. If there's a group chasing me down, I use the grenade launcher as well as mines

I really really really don't like it. Every other class has good or significant passives or gadgets, or class abilities that at least one of which are really good all the time and viable in all situations. Assault has great passives and a decent ability. Echelon has great passives, a great abilities, and a great gadget. Sniper class has decent passives, a somewhat underwhelming ability but a great great gadget. Medic has great team based passives, a great team based ability and great gadget. Basically his gadget is great all the time and his passives are great a large aspect of time if you co op. Panther has a great gadget and great passives especially the no penalty for suppressed SMGs (MP5 tears shit up). Engineer has a decent gadget but against common human enemies I don't find it all that much better than just going for head shots or having a decent damage gun. Against drones you can pretty much use rolling thunder and a good sniper or a whole other class for comparable or significantly better results. I hate his ability. It's charged off of super specific parameters and the AI for the drone feels brain dead. It literally doesn't shoot on it's own and by the time I send it out to alert enemies to my presence, I might as well have gone for the headshots myself.

What a poorly thought out class. I was excited for the engineer thinking they may add the explosive and emp drone from wildlands. What a damn shame. This class sould carry a emp and explosive drone. And the special ability should be able to hack enemy drones to turn them against the enemy. Ubi needs to hire more creative people than the ones they have.

I've found that the supply drone gives me a full mag when I'm out of ammo. I don't know if you missed this or they updated it, but I've tested it with the grenade launcher.

Great video. Provided some good information. One suggestion though. For the Ammo Drone... it would have been nice to see you demonstrate it. I'm just beginning to experiment with it. I'll toss it and it just sits out there. Their class descriptions are misleading. They need to do a better job of describing the tactics abilities in the future. And the demon should match what it can do word for word. I say this because I tried cloaking and didn't catch the "enemy players". So I was thinking for "enemies" and found out it doesn't work for enemies, so I'm guessing that it works in one of those multiplayer games. SIDE NOTE: Last night I was on with someone and we knocked out a Wolverine camp. Everything was knocked out. There was nothing on the map or the mini radar. The other player was asking me about the drone they were in coverage from. I didn't see a drone. They did. I went to where they were and whatever it was never shot at me. I go inside the building and I don't see the usual flash of shots I see the person health do down and required healing, but they had the Medic class and healed themselves. I went out side again and no drone and no shots. Eventually they stopped coming under fire and said it went again. This game has some serious glitches in it. I'll check out the other class explanations here because the game does a bad job with some of them.

I found the engineer's drone super effective against humans and very useful when combat erupts - I go stealthy and if get detected I launch the drone from cover and send it against the closest enemies to me. it kills them very effectively.

I agree, i started messing around with it recently and I find that's the best way to use this class. If anything I would like to have seen some sort of emp gadget that you throw down which emits a constant emp in an large aoe bubble around it for a certain time, in place of the supply drone. However, I do like the buffed ammo from the supply drone ngl.

@@twopiecehoxton the EMP nades do exactly that but only for 6, 9 or 13 seconds, depending on the mark. It would have indeed be cool if auch an EMP bubble was much much bigger (30 meters instead of about 10) and for maybe 45-60 seconds). I keep wishing the echelon's emp pistol belonged to the engineer.

@@adarwinterdror7245 I know but I'm saying it would be a continuous pulse, maybe like every 2 seconds for 15-20 seconds like an emp field, that affects anything already in the aoe or anything that that enters. The nades are just one pulse and done. Once you unlock a class weapon, doesn't it unlock for general use?

this game up now that I'm through with CoD since they decided that PvP zombies should be a thing. I loved wildlands but I'm curious with this class system. Does the UBGL also count for this classes technique?

Good to have, but not I wouldn't consider it a substitute. The convenience you'll have a grenade launcher along with your regular loadout without having to give up one of 2 main weapons.

Hey, how did you level up the Engineer MGL Grenade Launcher? I cant seem to find launcher parts anywhere. I tried swapping to Tier loot mode but no launchers are available to desconstruct from the shop.

Grant I’ve been able to get launcher parts in Immersive Mode on occasion, but the easiest way is to buy MGL’s from the blueprints section of the shop in Loot Mode and deconstruct them. But that was a while back; I’ll look into it tonight and see if it can still be done.

My go-to is assault, due to the extra health and True Grit ability, which really comes in handy when you in a pinch. If you’re going to play solo I do recommend assault for the reasons mentioned above, however in my second playthrough of the campaign in Immersive Mode I’m using the Echelon class so that way I’m forced to rely on only 3 bars of health and therefore play more carefully.

I did but it's not as easy as you don't have any abilities to help with stealth

kiakill16 you can, you just have to make sure one of your weapons is suppressed and you carefully scout out the base with your drone before you start shooting. You won’t have the advantages of the Panther’s drone spray and smoke grenade ability, or the Echelon’s Sonar ability, but you can take out a good portion of the base stealthily before enemies get alerted.

Raging Tomato no, the year 1 pass just grants one week early access and unlock with skill points. You should be able to get them now, but some people are experiencing a glitch where they can’t unlock the classes.

Once I unlock lvl 10 in the engineer can I use the Mgl even when I'm not playing it? Since I unlocked the weapon. Or do I have to play engineer at all times to be able to access the mgl.

I think panther's spray is more useful for any drone fight than anything the engineer has to offer. Hell you don't even have to use a silencer once you're cloaked.
