I understood a lot more than I thought before, your English is nice and good to understand (set the speed to 0.75 when you are not a native speaker like me). Your presentation of the A16 gave me the feeling that I did the right thing when I bought the A16 two days ago. By the way, it is interesting how much cheaper the A16 is in Australia than in Germany. Your actual price is $459 (AUS ?) and ours is $584 AUS$

Is this video mean the A type is the same with nv180d for the sewing.. but the nv180d have the embroidery one¿ ¿ so I can use nv180d for making dresses, shirt, skirt etc… please correct me if I’m wrong. Hi Tony, the NV180D has the sewing equivalent to the A150 plus it also embroiders. It is a combination machine. You can sew and embroider which makes it very versatile! :)

I’ve had the previous version of the A16 (the NS10) for 8 years, (was my first sewing machine tho I now have 9 lol)… but I still love mine. Brother’s love cheap thread and I can drive it freemotion and it acts like it’s an embroidery machine worth thousands even tho it’s just a basic girl. It’s not strong enuf for vinyl which is the only reason I upgraded to other all-metal machines but for everything else, she’s a pearler!

This video really helped me decide which model to buy as there aren't any stores in my area and I can only purchase online. The A80 "soft dial" seems like a downgrade from the A50's detented dial. Wouldn't the soft dial be too easy to knock accidentally?

Yes, absolutely - you would just change the needle say to Denim or leather if using these types of textiles!

@thetamilpaleo1429 Hi there, there is a speed control slider on the front of the machine which you can set to a certain speed and when you press your foot control it won't go faster than what you set it at. Or you can set it to the highest speed and then use your foot to determine how fast or slow the machine goes.

Hi there, the A80 selects the stitches using a simple dial and it also has a slightly wider throat area than the FS80X. Hope this answers your question :)
