I think less bells and whistles on a car is better , because its less stuff to break. I have the Prius C two. Its very basic with no moonroof and I'm very happy with it. Kinda wish it had hand crank windows lol

3:06 the slow acceleration (#3) is due to the prius' continuous variable transmission (CVT), not necessarily just the hp. the vehicle has a near-infinite (continuous) number of gear ratios, rather than the 4+ like we see a traditional gearbox. it's what gives the prius such amazing fuel efficiency

I got a Prius C Two because it is basic with no bells and whistles too which made it all the more fun to mod! I replace the infotainment system with an after-market android system which I was comfortable doing thanks to the redundant car monitoring on the dashboard. 🙂

I just bought a 2016 Prius C Two. 75K miles and Carfax certified. I am impressed with the Artic blast AC and surprisingly good stereo.

I have a 2013 C and i love ir with 97k miles. Great on gas. Not worried about speed. Catalytic converter is tucked upward. I still got a security plate for it. Love this car.

I have a orange toyota prius c 4 and I have a pedal commandor installed and it's like night and day!!! I'm on the highway daily that's why I got it! Safety reasons. Still 50 miles to the gallon. And rims!!! Safe driving to all!!!

Do you know if there are available aftermarket headlights for the 2016 Prius C? i can not find anything, and having to buy a new headlight assembly if the OEM LED one fails would be good to avoid given how expensive these are.

Yes I still have it! I just hit 102K miles..no issues except a flat tire lol.

Probably because Toyota has a large lineup of hybrid vehicle coming, I don't think the Prius C was a big seller. Corolla Cross Hybrid is coming for those a want a bigger hybrid, and the corolla hybrid will probably take over this segment.

I just hit over 170k miles, new struts and cv joint, I ran it too hard and didn't pay attention when the cv was leaking. Once I heard the noise it was too late.

I've got 350k km on mine, battery and engine still doing great. Still o first set of brakes too, but they're coming soon. Did have to replace the shocks in the back recently, and two wheel hubs. Otherwise gas and oil changes and a single radiator flush

My biggest complaint are two things on the interior. One, the part of the door where you rest your elbow has zero padding. I don't expect luxury but come on, just a little bit of padding would have went a long way. Two, the dead pedal cuts is cramped. I get it, it's a sub compact, there isn't a lot of room. Still uncomfortable. Other than that, this car is awesome!

I haven't driven one yet but I would have to nit pick the 9 gallon tank. Yes it's a hybrid and you'll spend less time going to the gas station but why couldn't Toyota give this car a 11 gallon tank like the Yaris

Bro, you don't know anything, Number 2, you hate a Prius because the catalytic converter gets stolen?? they all get stolen!!!, If you want acceleration get a friking Hellcat, Prius-c is amazing! 45 mpg!

Aside from the storage, the rest sees can be improve. 1. Power wise, it a Atkinson engine sure it will be less oomph to floor it. Just get a throttle controller n sharpen little the response 2. Prius C cat in weld into the manifold, unless the thief can your hood. It shud be safe, finger cross mine is still ok 3. For the handling, rigid collar and some strut bracing shud improve handling feel. 4. Moon roof, can comment and i prefer not to have one.

I hate everything about toyotas, useless vehicles , unsafe, electric, gas or hybrid whatever model is same price for maintenance if you choose Quality oem parts or liquids. Cheap made, plastic, front wheel drive, electrical problems, yes they can go 200k miles but jet always upset driving Garbage car... huge mistake purchasing one
