How do you time the prayer flick without the prayer drain mechanic? I don't know what other way to time it.

@@youngpapaswagdaddy5965 They'd never take an old fight like cerb and permanently rework it, but I agree this is an easier fight than main game, at least cheaper lol. I bet we see lots of new encounters over the next months/years that use lots of new mechanics that they've been trying out this leagues. Win-win! We keep our classic cerb fight and get something new as well.

I can't kill this one at all. Tried like 10 times with abyssal tentacle and can't. I think its dps problem, cuz in my case Cerb places toooo much pools around herself, and i can't even attack her, all the tiles around her are engaged with pools...

You can strategically position the fires further from cerb!

@@FeStoneman Ye, but another problem is, that at the beggining she attacks with some magic spell, so u can clearly hear it and count, so after 3rd attack moove back and position fires where u want. But, when she calls souls out, she starts using another spell to attack, which i can't hear at all to count, and at the same time i have to look after the souls attacks. Here i fail always, i pay too much attention on souls, while Cerb uses pools. Maybe i should practise more.

this and echo kq have been super enjoyable fights. working on DKs next, and that one looked like a blast when a cold one was doing it. Kind of hope they bring them all into the main game.

Nice video man. I'm having trouble with the timing for the prayer switching on ghost phase, any tips? I dont have to deal with it on regular cerb because I kill it before the first ghosts come out but that's obviously not feasible here

So you have your prayer up right when you see them come out. Let’s say it’s mage meele range Your mage prayer is up, as soon as the mage ghost shoots the attack, you’re good to switch to meele. When the meele one flys at you immediately switch to range

Yea Cerberus ghosts projectiles are weird, you have to pray before they cast not before the projectile hits you.

I always used the pray draining as my cue to swap prayers, do you have any visual or audio cues you use to help you on these ghosts?

What worked for me: Basically during the ghost phase just ignore Cerb and look at the ghosts. As soon as a ghost does it's attack animation, switch to the prayer for the next ghost. Just remember to move after the first row to avoid the fire, then back to ignoring Cerb until ghosts are done. After a couple of kills it wasn't so bad. If it comes down to it, I was able to shark/karambwan through it if I messed up. Avoiding the fire is the main priority, that can kill you on its own.

Yeah, once a ghost has casted you can switch to the next prayer. Blue ghost mage, green range, red melee

@FeStoneman my account is mobile locked. So I tried to choose echo bosses that would be easier on mobile. My main hasn't even bossed yet. The input delay really screws up pray switching. So before I do a boss I try to be as over prepared as possible.

Do the ghosts spawn after x amount of attacks like in the normal Cerberus or after x % of health lost? Perhaps I can just triple ZCB spec and dart him down before they spawn?

Honestly the triple ghosts are not too bad, the only tough part is the lava whilst trying to flick. However as mentioned in the video, the lava always comes at the same time in the sequence (when the first ghost from 2nd row) starts their attack so you can pre-find a square to run to and mindlessly click there as soon as the first ghost has attacked.

You're holding the prayer too long. the second the attack animation goes off, pray the next one, So RED/BLUE/GREEN spawns, Pray Melee, Red attacks > Pray Mage, Blue attacks, Pray Range
