ECHO Safety Helmet is it worth the price?

I purchased this product yesterday, read the instructions carefully (using magnifiers so that the text was legible) and when completed had no clue how to proceed. Then I went to the internet and searched for this video. Excellent visuals and articulation. I had the whole rig together in under 5 minutes. Thanks so much.

The instructions were missing from the box, so I was in the dark. Ten thumbs up for your video saving the day for me. I agree with chloebrowne. I would never have figured it out. It was partially assembled when I opened the box, but it was partially assembled wrong. I believe that they guys at the shop gave up on it. I will take it back and show them what you showed me. Hallelujah for your excellent instructions! Both my brother and I wasted quite a lot of time trying to figure out how to assemble it and indeed, the instructions in the box were utterly useless. Thanks for saving me a trip back to the point of purchase. The bending of those tabs is not at ALL intuitive so I don't know how the heck anyone would figure that out without instructions, which begs the question: how did YOU figure it out?!

Glad you came across this video and to answer the question, I studied another safety helmet that came pre-assembled. That when I got the idea to make this easy for others, thus the video.

OMG thank you soooo much for this video! Like you said instructions are worthless and basically say put helmet together and put on your head. Nothing about needing to fold the buckles in which was giving me a WTF? moment! You rock dude and appreciate the vid!

I bought TR safely helmet for 27.00. It came with clear screen besides the mesh. Its a same exact helmet. Just rebranded as Echo for 89.00. Same with Oregon, Stihl, Husqvarna for 100.00. Good thing I chose the cheapest one and same as others.

Very helpful video. Don't know how echo expects people to put this helmet together when there are no assembly instructions and it certainly isnt obvious at all to bend the tabs before inserting them.

While not included with the helmet, you can purchase a face shield. It goes on the same way as the mesh shield.

This is a decent rig for the average person. However, the instructions are impossible to read even with my cheaters on. Ridiculously tiny print. Use the internet instructions.
