I love this movie. Saw it on tv when it was first broadcast. Convoluted story but presented in an easily understood way. I think after seeing this again I may buy the book. Enjoy.

Despite all the ads...This is really a great watch. Its not your typical but I loved the angle and its true crime!!! There is always something to learn. Coyote and Boyle are perfect for their roles.

This movie is so strange and hard to follow because it just makes no sense. I remember thinking the same in the 80's trying to watch it. Teacher Advocate, Bill, is so weird and ridiculous.

Made for TV based of the book by the same name. The book details the lurid tale of the murder of Pennsylvania's Upper Merion Area High School English teacher Susan Reinert and her two children in 1979. The case captured national media attention. Both her boss, high school principal Jay C. Smith, and her lover and colleague William Bradfield were convicted, although Smith's conviction was later overturned, because of police and prosecutorial misconduct in the case.

This was actually a decent movie! I only saw one add, but I have the premium, now I'm glad I do LOL. I had to come back and add it, right at the very end there's another commercial! So I think there was only two, but.... If I fast forwarded between the first half and the second half there could have been one in there!

Manipulation, murder, narcissism. Peter Coyote is excellent, the vulnerable 4 just drive you crazy, and Peter Boyle is just the nail in his coffin. Superb acting all round.
