Spell Power Grasp is going to be HUGE for spell couters because most spell counter monsters and the Citidel of Endmion gain counters from activating spell cards. So it combos really well.

Shadypenguin.... the fusion card Dark Blade the dragon knight ability can help make sure they have no targets for bringing monsters back from GY or like Quill Pen of Gulldos in reshuffling back into the deck. Can make things like red eye spirit, puzzle reborn and dragon's rebirth for examples have no targets from GY.

Silent Burning is PERFECT for Silent Magician LV 4. It gains 1 Spell Counter PER CARD the opponent draws. So if the opponent has to draw up to 6, they must draw 0-6 cards depending on their hand size

I got lucky on the pack and if you're making a Silent Magician deck, you really, REALLY need the Ultimate Insects lv3 and lv5. Packing your deck full of defence cards like Mirror Wall, Enemy Controller, Super Rush Headlong and Sphere Kuriboh and the rest alongside Level UP! is also a good idea. 3 Silent Magician lv4 and 3 Ultimate Insect Lv3 are necessary base monsters. The rest of the monsters need to be draw flips, like Skelengal or Crystal Seer (CS being the best possible). The Ultimate Insects main draw is attack reduction and a much easier to get off LV mechanic, which meshes well with a SM LV deck. Don't put more then 3 above Star Level 4 cards in your deck if you do, you might just want to stick with either 1 or 2 Ultimate Insect 5 and Silent M 8, since the deck will have brick problems if you do more. Yugi has Restart, which covers for the deck's main problem with bricking. You CAN go the spell counter or opponent deckout route, but it's slow, however if you can build it fast somehow you have the advantage of getting Silent Magician LV 4 to ludicrous levels of power. Spell Power Grasp, Cup of Ace and Alchemist of Black Spells help a lot, but it's messy. The box has loads of support all over the place, specifically for deckout, milling and spell counter decks, all very much needed. Probably the best minibox in the while. When you make a Silent deck, you have to choose between quick and cheap boss summoning or buildup with counters, and the first is available right out of the box, while the second has a huge amount of potential. Gagagigo is also really nice for pretty much any deck that needs a beater.

I think I can. Outside of water beatdown, until we get more normal monster support I don't feel like a beatstick is really that amazing. Not complete trash, but not at all game defining. Slushy is only good in gimmick decks based around levia, and even then it works like frog otk. We would need more support for most of these cards to be great. I'm just interested in Silent Magician man >.>
