Im 45, I used to be in love with this song when I was 15. And man there was now way I could find it again, I tried from time to time through decades, but no way without the title. I came uppon a great video of history of trackers, and there it was, played in the BG. And one comment had it s title. Man I Love internet

Same. I remember this tune as the TetraMed demo and heard it recently in Ahoy's video on trackers and went through the song credits at the end. Finally reunited after 30 years.

This song was used in the Tetra Compositor demo that was packaged with Sound Blaster (I think Pro?) cards, along with the "elements" demo, Dr. Sbaitso, and the talking parrot, for anyone wondering how they heard this as a kid with an IBM PC.

IIRC it was Sound Blaster 2.0..

I absolutely went and hunted down the mod file, tore it apart and remastered it. Put the result on my channel if anyone’s interested.

Same. Just watched the Ahoy video and wanted to hear this. Used to play this on NoiseTracker for the Atari ST. Had a lot of fun making music with that software.

Same. I knew this from way back in like 92-3. I only knew it by the filename which was just "echoing." Good memories thanks to Ahoy

I've been coming back to my office right now and - being in a good mood - suddenly remembered THIS and started whistling it out loud. The echo in the corridor really corresponded well with the title of this timeless masterpiece :)

I used to have this piece in a mod file. One of the things I love about this video is how all of the subsonics (as far as I can tell) seem to be preserved. I just hope my speakers don't fall apart from the stress. I destroyed one set of speakers on the original mod file.
@goodbye89952 жыл бұрын
@Babs it's called echoing.mod - disclaimer, that is 30 year old memory, may be wrong.

It has a very interesting set of instruments to say the least. I love it :D

@@larsandersen9134 I can still recognize the sub sonics if it was created from the original mod file. I used to have it, but have no players that work under Windows. I used to play it just to watch the woofers move. @Good Bye: Your memory is correct.

Greetings! I'm looking for the name of Amiga 500 software (demo or smth like that with songs to play) which I forgot. Software was loading only to command console. You needed to write special command which i don't remember either. After that you got menu on top with list of songs to play. There were for sure Alphaville, Echoing, AxelF and some more songs. Coursor was mouse like if I remember corectly. If anyone knows what program it was I would be grateful for answering this post because now i feel that I lost something cool and I'm not complete. This music was part of my best experiences with Amiga. Version of Alphaville from this video is very similiar to that one from Amiga Disk.
