The only thing that sucks about it is you can't connect these in stereo. Still have to use Bluetooth for that. That means you can't sync the light sticks with them.

Does Auracast allow you to use the custom EQ settings and bassboost or does it disable all EQ settings like Partyboost does?

Still lets you use the bass boost settings on each speaker but not sure about the EQ. As you’re technically only connected to one speaker, you’ll probably only be able to change it for all

@patsar7390​ @HammoTechReviews Ok, test is done. 2x 320 JBL tested with the Original Mics V1 and V2 and tested with 3rd party. Did not work. Link is Stable, music will play on all Speakers, BUT!!! the sound from the Mic is everytime only on the box who is connected to the Microphones. So sadly, no Auracast dont sync microphones. current Firmware.

@@wannabe89 hello! So in order to have more than 2 microphones,you would have to connect more microphones to the second speaker to hear mic#3 and/ or #4? I have the same issue with my Bose s1 pros. The only way to have more than 2 mics is either to have a mixer( which I like to avoid), or have 2 sets of mics. 2 on one speaker and 2 on the other. But no way for mic sound to come out of both speakers without a mixer, or directly wired together? I can't believe they can't conquer this issue.

In Auracast. I understand you can pair of many speakers together but the answer I can’t find is it only pairs it in mono it does not do it in stereo is what I seen in the comments sections and some of the videos so is that actually correct that it’s only in mono and it’s not the same as TWS quality ? Which sender do you use? Doesn't the smartphone from which you play the music need to send an Auracast LE Audio Broadcast Signal as well?

I don’t believe so. You effectively connect to one speaker with Bluetooth as normal, and then the aura cast system pairs all the other speakers with the first one. The whole time your phone only knows you’re connected to one speaker (the first)

@@HammoTechReviews Thank you for your quick reply. If JBL truly implemented it this way, this almost seems like they didn't want to wait for Smartphone operating systems to catch up. Because how Bluetooth SIG announced Auracast, you need a Smartphone to find Auracast broadcasts in you area and direct your connected LE Audio output device (headphones or speaker) to the broadcast, using the smartphone as the tool to do that. If their auracast pairing works, that is nice, but I also imagine it will only work between JBL products and since Auracast was intented to be an open platfrom, the JBL speakers probably can not tune into other "non - JBL" broadcasts... at least not at the moment.

@@HammoTechReviews It would be awesome to see this in your next review video to check if both the JBL speakers and the other device you test have "true Auracast". If they work together, it's true Auracast and it would be a huge win for all audio fans in the future because everyone can then jump into the broadcast and multily the audio output that way 😊👍🏼

Please explain auracast to me. I know it allows you connect multiple speakers, but how many? Do they all have to be JBL brand? The same model? I have two 310s that I use for small dj gigs. I was hoping to be able to connect more speakers. I want at least for 320s.

Unfortunately the 310 doesn't support Auracast, but on speakers that do, you should be able to pair anything, regardless of brand. I think it's up to around 100 speakers at the same time (which should be enough xD)

When you are head stomping the competition; you kind of get to set the price. Sucks, but true. Especially at new product launch. I bought two 320’s straight away, and have sold both of my 310’s immediately; without even advertising them! Just via people who know me, that knew I upgraded. Held 70% of their price after 2 years as well. Bought for £500, sold for £350. So they are worth it.
