For many people, identifying as simply formless consciousness won't be enough if they want to feel superior to others, but if you can let that go, you learn to love yourself and others equally, as we are all the same thing just wearing a different disguise. And if you still want to feel superior for now, well think of it this way, you are life itself, the very fundamental aspect of existence. You are superior to physical matter! And then eventually you figure out that everything you perceive is you. There's really no superiority at all. You're one with the universe. Every one is.

This makes sense to my inner being.. I know it might be an odd question but can we still have romantic relationships once we accept that we’re just consciousness since we love everyone the same? Does this make sense?
@Masi.CaponeАй бұрын
@@aliquintana3652 You absolutely can! One of the most important aspects of life is our connection with others. I would imagine a romantic relationship flows better when you feel whole on your own and don't need someone to be happy. Personally I don't have an interest in one. I'm more interested in close to asexual polyamory, as I want to be as unconditional as I can with people. I love that you felt I could answer that question. I believe in really prying into the psyche to understand why we want anything, so if you want a relationship, expose all the reasons.

We all need to stop serving the needs of others and start taking a good care of ourselves and our own needs. It means cutting off unnecessary meetings, parties, "friends", especially those in social media. Stop wasting yourself on the nonsense others make up for you and fears of what can happen to you if you don't follow them. Don't do anything unless it brings your joy, benefits or money. Give yourself a break.

The assertion which postulates "Identity" must correlate with how "awareness" is defined as a tangible variable. Does 'Identity" present itself as an "innate" disposition or a quantifiable telemetry, quashed by "A Posteriori" variables, succinct to ones nature? Identity must be seen as a transitory reflection of what "was", for what is, and what will be, is an ontological state prescribed by what is "perceived." A pious man portrays a twinkled starlight, as the heavens watch and listen to each vibration, in a long awaited breath. He states " I am not the same man I was 10 years ago. I identify with something more than I ever was." Alas, the intrinsic value of God is derived through the "soul."

@zeroxox7772 ай бұрын
Grand explanations of the ego as offered here are nothing to do with the observation and understanding of the phenomena of the mental and emotional life which he calls ego, and has no place in the true flowering of understanding which is first and foremost an understanding of your own life as it is. So what value has a teacher of the content of psychological life? This every psychologist does already, and it merely prejudices everything you see because you accept these descriptions as the truth. No - awareness alone perceives the truth of what is and goes beyond it, and no-body can teach awareness because it always already is. When the brain understands the importance of this awareness naturally it will start to be aware, including of all the disruptions to this natural awareness the complete understanding of which puts them away. Trying to practice won't put them away through understanding but only through the self-violence of repression and resistance which is not the action of understanding but of instruction by authority.
