I have a hand painted copy of the Sith code on a canvas hanging on my wall, written in the original Sith language, in the Sith alphabet. Probably the most complex bit of calligraphy work I've ever done, using of course Grossblatt's original Kittât, rather than the ugly glyphs bashed out by the Episode IX team. Nwûl tash. Dzwol shâsotkun. Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk. Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan. Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha. Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak. Wonoksh Qyâsik nun.

The Banite Sith also lost most of it from generation to generation, on account of their secrecy and tendency for the apprentice to murder the master before learning everything they knew (IE the almost complete loss of stuff like Sith alchemy or creature crafting by the time of Palpatine and Vader). It's very much a "power for versatility" trade off, each generation tends to be more naturally powerful than the previous but also less wise and knowledgeable in the force itself.

@@BertoxolusThePuzzled Uh False. The greatest loss to the Sith during the Banite Era was about 6 or so Sith into the lineage. He tried to merge light and dark side teachings and ended up being driven insane because of it. He tried to destroy the accumulated Lore and teachings gathered by the Sith at that point and his apprentice defeated him at the cost of an arm. It was said to have set the Sith back by 400 years. By Palpatines time they had completely bounced back from that setback and went further. The only things "Lost" during this time were the Siths Mathmatical and Scientific techniques of overcoming the force like Darth Venemous' Maxi-Chlorians and Plagieus' Mastery of the Force technique as they were personal techniques to the user that they didn't teach their apprentices.

As to the theory of Vernestra Rwoh, I don't believe she's a sith or anything like that exactly. I think that something besides the incident on Brendok really puts her in a bad light, and really threatens the order as well as her position in it. Qimir was her Padawan. He did something bad. They fought, she gave him the scar, and now she's trying to keep it covered up. This is the rot of the Jedi, and she's trying to paint over it.

I never really thought about it. But when it comes to him being a sith, when would the Sith of been decriminalized? I don't know enough about the transition from old republic to the the rise of the empire.
