I have a comment about the ''cuts'' made in the video. I always felt like the quiet, silent moments of Eckhart were part of his teaching of presence. I find it sad that they are taken away somehow, to make the conversation more fluid. He teaches us how to be present. The space in between his words is also important to hear.

But... wouldn't "becoming a better person" imply that there are different qualities of persons? I'm truly asking, because I feel like we should at least try to remove judgement like that, and simply accept the other, be it a person or a situation where many people are involved. I think I heard Mr. Eckhart say that just by interacting with others, if we indeed have achieved some level of enlightenment, we will be gently helping them to realize some of these things, and maybe guiding them in a path closer to "deidentification" with their egos. What do you think about this?

@Mahdi Kassem The ego can take on a religious identity. The strategy is sometimes the trap.
@mikeq58074 жыл бұрын
@Mahdi Kassem Consciousness speaks in the form of insight, in the form of intuition, inner guidance. Religion is a matrix that is primarily and fundamentally outward-focused. The soul evolves from the outward towards the inward, from the ego towards Consciousness, from being mastered by the emotions towards mastering the emotions, from disconnectedness towards connectedness, from fear towards love, empathy, compassion. Eckhart is a living example of what the spiritual path is about. We are like plants naturally orienting our focus towards the sun. The more evolved the soul, the more such a one is drawn to people like Eckhart. Our choices reflect our energy. I very much like the Dao De Jing. Good translators: Derek Lin, DC Lau, Henry Wei, John Wu. A couple Sufi poets I like are Rumi, 13th century, and Kahlil Gibran, 20th century. I bid you a good night. I am celebrating, in a quiet way, President Trump's second term.

@@johnkennedy8795 hi, I would advice , since you asked, to start meditation. To get in contact with your higher mind, your soul. Ask the question to this source and see what you get as answer. As a human being we all need the ego too, just do not let it make all the big decisions. It’s like a dog trying to warn u for danger and preferences and surely is good to take its opinion into account. Yet, after that the questions you have should be answered by your higher self, not your ego. The higher self is directly connected to source to the light to the god state. So, I would suggest first to check in with this source, through mediation; it means sitting still without interruptions and let all your thoughts be thoughts and let them move by like clouds in the sky. Do not give them importance..but wait for the stillness that is always just around the corner! It’s a great experience once you free yourself from thoughts.. Then, you can do this daily for 10 or 20 min. Your higher self will be getting your signals and will guide you. Then ofcourse also...it’s important that you happy as a person. To your question: It comes down to what your values are. Do you value loyalty more , do you value adventure more etc? Also, is it possible to wait until your children are out of the house? Can you try to fall in love again with your partner? It’s a decision only you can make, but just remember if you work with your higher self ..you will find more peace in all your earthly doings. Your relationship between you and your soul ( connected to the infinite god state, light source higher vibration etc) is the most important relationship to base all your worldly decisions on. And it will always forgive, support you, don’t be afraid. Good luck to you

I also miss the gaps, but you know, we can pause the video whenever we want, and watch as many times as we want Eckhart's teachings, so it's not really a problem if we don't give it to much importance 😊 thanks!

I love him...he really should do some comedy..he is so funny...like when he was acting like he was taking selfies it was super funny and the audience was even cracking up...and most of his talks have this subtle comedy that is actually super funny....i love you Eckhart Tolle...thank you so much for all you do...the world is waking up and it is such an honor to be here ascending with you all...this is such an awesome time to be here present and alive on the planet...this year the awakened ones will start colonizing and meeting each other and finding each other in the physical....we will start forming PHYSICAL high vibe tribes or basically spiritual people will start gathering which is already happening and we will move towards getting land building earth homes or eco homes on them and of coarse there will be gardens...once we get everything set up..we will continue on our mission to heal ourselves and each other and the planet and ascend to a whole new level of consciousness...imagine having a reiki healer, a meditation expert, an alchemist, and natural remedy and nutritionist plus many other things in the same colony...we will be able to assist those in the collective that are ready...these visions have been in my head since the beginning of my awakening...im so excited i cant wait...i love you humanity we are in this together...i started my own youtube channel to play one of my many parts in this ascension process spreading the message

My preciousssss... ego sounds a lot like the ring that Gollum doesn’t want to let go, so much so that he gets first transformed into a monster and then destroyed by it.

Meaning is food for the ego. Learn to enjoy your own beingness without giving things meaning.

Ahh but is not “learning to enjoy” but another motive for the ego to pry and leverage you upon?

I'm 'fasting" from social media more and more, so i really appreciate this teaching. Whenever i'm involved with social media it feels like quicksand, drawing me into an un-reality. Watching this is so refreshing and helps me remember days before any of the on-line world. Thank you.
