The sound of his voice, his nice accent, his gentleness, his beautiful sense of humor, his little chuckles, his calmness, all that, along with his words, bring me immediate soothing, comfort, reassurance and a beginning of joy. Surely not needing to know all the answers to all the questions but simply be able to trust that the answers will come to you is where we should all aim to be. @@WingsofFlight-n5u I agree when the mind falls silent all questions, claims stories and explanations do indeed stop and all that's left is what truly is. But the mind seldom stays silent for very long as being silent is not what it's there for, restless is the nature of the human mind, but we do have a choice whether to engage with the minds thoughts ideas opinions fears and beliefs or simply let them pass without interest or attention 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Impatience has been a big obstacle for me, as it’s a direct expression of refusing to be in the ‘now’. Once I recognised this, it became an opportunity to see this refusal first hand, when it’s operating in the moment. It’s still painful - all that pushing and pulling - but it’s less pernicious that it used to be. 🙏

Alan Watts, the man was so ahead of his time, love Alan. This experience is real but our thoughts about this experience is the dream, illusion or story we tell ourselves about the real world. 99.9 of the time right now here in the present moment or the real world very very thankfully absolutely nothing dramatic is taking place anywhere at all, but in our minds it's all absolute drama, chaos and mayhem. Our minds produce the thoughts that suggest a possible storyline, there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop our minds suggesting possible storylines, but it's us and our thinking that writes the script and turns it into a romcom, feel good or horror story 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 we might have choice over what our minds suggest but we have absolute choice whether to take them seriously or not 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you, "what is important", not the outer things, but inner things... And that I feel is wealth, being rich on the inside. One spiritual author I respect calls this _a complete reversal in your experience of the world when you make the transition from personal fulfillment to personal surrender._ I feel there is a connection to what Tolle is saying about what truly matters. What is personal fulfillment anyways if all you truly need is already within you?

Every morning my old little dog has a wee on my wooden floor, cursing him and my day has become quite the gift, as I stand there with the mop, my first chance of the day to let go, to accept, to live as if I had chosen it. Maybe tomorrow I will get cross and it could lead to 4 or 5 more reasons to add up my annoyance, as I burn my hand on the kettle or spill my drink, but the door is always open to acceptance and the flow of things, and I do love my dog, he is just old and it is in his nature.

I just love Eckhart. And he's at his best here. Outside is also inside. What do you bring to the table. I've had a challenging outside lately and it made me see this is true. I react to terrible things rather stoicly and they don't get worse and I can react childishly to a very simple thing and they do get worse. It's good to know what state you are in. If you are tired and had a lot of emotional turmoil or are in pain, you are less likely to be stoic about things. For others we think this is normal, but somehow we expect something different from ourselves.

It is important that we understand that God/Allah (He has 99 names)'s will is not to be dictated by man. Looking for triggers to get me provoked and overreact is very unnecessary because I just don't understand what it is that everyone wants! What am I supposed to admit? Why are / is everyone working so hard for me to flip out/ get angry? Am I not allowed to get angry?. Looking an waiting for me to lie, or speak incorrectly or prove my intelligence.. Why?.. Very unnecessary. Those who listened know what's what. Kindly, let's focus on our inners elves, count our blessings, unwrong the wrong etc. Just leave me out of it. Thank you.

0:15 Vigilance over your inner state. Outer condition is no longer more important than the state of consciousness. 🌹🚣♂️👍🦅🦋🌟⚘🌛 You are no longer lost in reactions. Notice anything that upsets you, big or small. People are personally upset with stranger drivers! Unconscious people are a gust of wind. Are you upset with wind? 🌹🤩🦅🎯🕰🌟 5:43 Conflict situations even in spiritual organizations. Be vigilant about primary and secondary. Secondary is external situation. Primary is state of consciousness. Don't confuse about what is really important. Invite presence. Deep breaths. Look around. Step out of thinking. Reclaim consciousness from incarnated form of though and emotion. Heightened sense of presence, higher vibrational frequency. Thanks Eckhart. 22 September 2023.🌹🚣♂️👍🌱🤩🦆🤠

I would appreciate Eckhart’s insight on how to approach life when one has experienced long periods of time (approximately two months in my case) with severe sleep deprivation. I only manage to doze off for 2 maybe 3 hours of sleep a night after moving to a new location. My relation to sleep is similar to Goldilocks and porridge. In the past Eckhart has recommended viewing insomnia as an opportunity for meditation. This does work - but is particularly challenging when one is physically allergic to the place one lives.
