I've unsub'ed from a few channels. Usually, I just get tired of watching, nothing really against the channel or the personality. Sometimes a channel goes off in a different direction that what they've done before or I just want to watch another channel more often and don't have time for another. Don't take it personally. Well actually there was this one very popular channel where I unsub'ed (I won't mention who). He whined and complained and talked like a 35-yr old going on 5 yr. I could only put up with him for a while and then dropped him like a rock into the ocean.

Oh I don’t take it personally, just thinking about it practically. Consistent in subs mess up the algorithm for me. I’m not too worried about it. Thanks for the visit my friend!👊🌲

Long comment tonight...you asked for feedback. I like the Vlogs - a bit more newsy and personal. If you cut them I'll unsubscribe! HAHAHA. Actually what will really make me inscribe to KZbin itself is them changing the page layout. It is terrible. I hate it. Further, I'm surprised that with the changes they've made for content producers which from what I understand reduces income and viewing hits. that you folks aren't leaving. Eclipse - what eclipse? Nothing worth writing home about where I am. The park choice in Syracuse has nothing to do with there being the only Cabelas/Bass pro in the area does it? LOL I haven't been to the park but driven through there. You may want to stop in Pulaski enroute at Fat Nancy's tackle shop. Across the road at the gas station is a nice little country market with clean washrooms. Last week I was down s/e of there in Statford staying a tfriend's 16'x 26 off grid cabin for trout opener. Unfortunately it was freezing and rainy and after day 1 we ended up at the plethora of antique stores and sat around the wood stove catching up. There is so much old history there.The cabin across from my friends was built in 1750 on 1000 acres granted to the owner by the King of England. A widow lady now lives in the run down building and a descendant still owns some of Thea cease nearby. It's really cool. I expect you'll cross at Gananoque? It's never busy there off season. There was literally 2 cars ahead of me at the border. Take change for the toll crossing the bridge . Safe travels.

Hey Marlowe thanks for the tips and I was not aware of the Bass Pro proximity lol. Sounds like you had a great time despite the bad weather, that’s what’s important! Take care, talk soon👍

I am not unsubscribing, not yet anyway! :) Strange when that happens but I think that is part of the new KZbin. I have had a lot of unsubscribes with every new video regardless of the format or theme. But then the algorithm finds more folks who like the content and I seem to win back a new bunch. Just swapping fans? I don't know. Perhaps YT is getting rid of all the bot subscribers that might be out there? My advice is to not worry about it and just do your thing! ATB!

Odd folk, indeed!! I very much enjoy your, energy, humor, and your wisdom! Your accent and cadence is melodic. I’m a new subscriber…too bad unsubscribing isn’t like weight loss😎 💥2017 was our epic eclipse…on a deserted prairie in Eastern Oregon. Long Creek, Oregon was the closest town and I guess it was standing room only in that one-stoplight town. Ritter Hot Springs did not disappoint!! We were directly in the path of totality….nothing like it. Great burgers at the little cafe!! Now don’t you all “Californicate” us….!! Thanks, Wade for all your efforts sharing your life. I really enjoy and appreciate it. 💥

Unfortunate about the no-eclipse bit sounds like a great trip all the same. We had family in Ontario who only saw cloud cover too. We count our lucky stars that we had clear skies and totality with the clouds moving in immediately after. Pretty cool stuff though and we were walking distance from home had it been a wash. Filmed it but like you, life gets busy and editing does take time. The subs / unsubscribe thing is wonky. We’re just a wee channel and our numbers yo-yo. Mysterious. Regardless, keep making and sharing your great content! Cheers from la Belle province!

That's it! Another one of these Vlogs? I'm outta here!.....Just kidding, that is very strange to me. The Vlogs give the rest of your videos more of a personal touch and a chance to get to know you. It's like videos (business) & vlogs (pleasure), a little mix of both. Maybe that is it, people are turning into robots with their phones stuck in their face and can't handle the personal touch...Like you said, "who knows?" But if it were me (strictly my 2-cents), I would keep doing them. If people that watch your kind of videos are that sensitive or whatever the reason is....maybe good riddance? Unless it is affecting your livelihood that much, I say stick with them and like the old '83 James Bond Movie, "Never Say Never Again." Hope River is healing up, sounds like it...see her next time!

I actually quite enjoy your vlogs. You have an easy going manner, a kindly northern accent and you’re a good driver in a quiet vehicle.😆 As for the eclipse; we are in west central Indiana so we’re in the “total” path. And thankfully the weather cleared for us to view it unencumbered. It really was a sight to see. More so than I’d expected. I think equally as interesting was the stark drop in temperature as the sun was obscured by the moon. There was a mild breeze at the time which even accentuated it. We live on a farm so chose “festival seating” in our barn lot. (Great FREE view! And no drunk tourists stumbling around in black out glasses.🤣) We particularly wanted a view of our animals to see how they responded to the eclipse. And all was still. And quiet. And peaceful. We did see a doe dart across an open bean field. But that was early on and probably unrelated. No other animals wild or domestic seemed bothered by the oddity of midday darkness. Very cool! (Literally!). God is indeed a masterful Creator!
@Woodswalker19655 ай бұрын
That’s so nice to view creation in your own festival seating! You’re the third person to comment on my accent, I didn’t even know I had one😂😂😂

Hey Wade, i would check out the Catskill's for camping. Theres about a 100 miles of it and i cant narrow it down for you, but I can send you some regs Do you need a permit to camp in the Catskills? Except where marked by a “Camp Here” disk, camping is prohibited within 150 feet of roads, trails, lakes, ponds, streams or other bodies of water. Camping groups of ten or more persons or stays of more than three days in one place require a permit from the New York State Forest Ranger responsible for the area. All the best brother!

Good deal on making yourself healthy. From what I know, have seen and read, cutting your portions down by half and not eating processed food is the best way for me. And I switched to light beer...maybe that doesn't help!

Howdy, Wade. Different folks have different tastes and even their own taste for content changes with time. I suppose some folk subscribe to see what the channel's all about, then choose to move on and, I suppose, that's better than becoming a troll and creating all sorts of trouble. I've unsubscribed from a few, but never after or because of a single video - I stick around to see if the content changes back. Look for quality in your subscribers rather than the hit and run variety. Onward and upward my friend. Congrats on the new puppy - hope to see the new wild one soon - as well as River's return to the screen, especially if she receives a huge, honk'n, gnarly, bone to chew on! Enjoy your trip to the states.

Regarding fitness, the best thing that I ever did was to go completely off the sugar. No cane sugar, no corn syrup. I do use some honey and/or maple syrup when cooking, but it was easier to completely cut out the processed sugar than to think that I would somehow cut back consistently enough to make a difference. It does mean eating different foods, but you get used to it. And then my daughter got me off the gluten (except for some social events/holidays). The thing about modern gluten is that it is super modified, either through gene editing or just thousands of years of agricultural selection. Wheat from the past was not problematic, but modern gluten tends to cause leaky gut and inflammation. When I ate gluten, sugar, processed food, I wasn't doing great in terms of fitness, even when I really restricted the amount I was eating. I seem to be better off just eating what our ancestors ate.

Hey Wade, I think someone already answered, but I bet it is a Buck 110. I just so happened to have had a work trip to Coeur D'Alene Idaho last week. Well, next to Coeur D'Alene is a small town called Post Falls, the home of the Buck Knives Factory. I got the tour and added another 110 to my collection. A silver bolstered drop point. They let me handle all the knives I wanted. I thought to myself, "If only Wade were here..."

I live in St. John's, Newfoundland and we were close to the total eclipse. I did travel about 2 hours away to Clarenville to view the total eclipse. It was cloudy but the total eclipse was awesome to see. It got pitch black for over 2 1/2 minutes. I have a less than 3 minute video posted of my eclipse day. It was worth it! I like your vlogs and I watch most of your videos. If there is something I don't have an interest in I just don't watch. I see no reason to unsubscribe. I've only unsubscribed from a few channels and that is because they changed direction of the channel or I lost interest in the channel. People are weird to unsubscribe for very little reasons but to each his own I guess. I hope you enjoy your trip to the states. I will be travelling around my province of Newfoundland this summer kayaking and camping. No set plans yet........Take care, Bluefin.
