Guys I have a 2004 Mazda Axela. My battery light came on while driving. Did a voltage test on it found out that the alternator is not charging the battery. Did a code test, got this code P2503, charging system voltage low. Did further testing then found out that two pins in the PCM is sending the wrong volts to the alternator🤷🏽‍♂️

The problem is. If you want to hook up a bigger alternator. It kicks your ass. I habe a 2007 chrysler 300. And bought a 320 amp alternator. They told me to just run the plug that came with the alt to a 12v power supply for on/amd off switch. And now it doesnt run right. The alt comes with a 4 pni. GM oval plug. But my harness is just a two pin. So hiw do i fix that

mayve you conected the 12v supply on the wrong pin. On the two pin connector, one is load feedback to ecm and the other is signal from ecm to regulator. Running a 12v supply to ecm controll signal would work if signal would go from ecm to regulator and not backwards

And if you don`t like it just disconnect the sensor on the negative lead of the starter battery, no stop/start, no smart charge, and the kicker, you will always have a fully charged battery.

AutoMate Training actually im looking forward to 100% electric, fuel economy has not improved dramatically in decades yet battery technology continues to do so, in 79 we had a diesel holden that got over 1000km for 50 litres today cars get?
