The GNER livery was and still is my all time favorite. Simple, classy and understated. I can still remember seeing the 373s at Leeds station and thinking that they looked so fantastic.

Wow I think this is the first footage I've ever seen of GNER livery 90 024 actually on a GNER service! A very rare sight indeed! I also remember once having 89001 pull into the station on my train to Leeds, what a delightful surprise that was! And the GNER Eurostars looked superb too. Perhaps even better than the Eurostar livery. Certainly better than those cheap, noisy and uncomfortable IETs we suffer with now! Intercity travel on the ECML is not what it once was, thats for sure :-(

Really miss seeing the "Route of the Flying Scotsman" on the side of the mk4s, also road a 373 from Leeds to London in 2004

Lovely Eurostar class 373 "White Rose Train" in Great North Eastern Railway Livery, the awesome sound when a 373 powers up or down

Fantastic video of a unique part of British railway history! :D I was just wondering, would it be possible for me to use some of your footage as part of an upcoming documentary I'm creating about the history of the Class 91?

On the ECML, the Eurostar class 373's usually operated between Leeds. They would have two nicknames: The 'White Rose' and 'Eurostar Regional'

That GBRf locomotive has an EMD engine! It sounds like an EMD F59PH or F40PH here in the United States
@oliverthegreatwesternengin80294 жыл бұрын
That would make sense as the class 66's were build in the US.
