This eco-friendly beach developed from the huge park in this village that was redeveloped by the forest committee of Kasarkod village, the forest department, and the tourism department. The beach was developed to encourage eco-tourism in Karnataka and to attract tourists from all over.
The park attached to this beach has much to offer to travelers.
The park is open from 8 am- 6 pm every day
An entry fee is charged
Rs 10/- for adults
Rs 5/- for children
An excellent children’s play area

One of the "Blue Flag ” certified beach from the International agency Foundation for Environment Education, Denmark. This Beach possess solid waste management plants, grey water treatments plants, seating arrangements, clean drinking water, washroom, changing room, bathing facility, disabled friendly and general toilets, parking facilities, solar power plants and solar lighting.
We visited in the second week of August..Very clean and well maintained beach ⛱. During our visit the sea is very rough and they are not allowed into the water.. Restrooms are clean and neatly maintained.
