Hmmm shows the oil temp below 50 c's.. Mine doesn't show anything under 50 c's and I have the 7 inch middle display. Minute differences between the 14 and 15 I am assuming?

Hi , I came across with this video and I do have a question for you , I was in the dealership a week ago looking for a mopar block heater cord for my 17’ RAM 2500 diesel ... he said that I don’t need a block heater cord ... for the area where I live , he said that Cummins which is the Engine Builder instal a outlet for the cord , but don’t provide the cord because depends on where the truck is going to be sent .. ( let’s say north ( Canada ) or Alaska where weather conditions are extremely hard for Engines ( temperatures below -30 Celsius ) but on my case it won’t be necessary, that new Cummins Engine construction is design to create the temperature for a good start , now wait a few minutes for the truck to warm up .. that’s absolutely necessary in my opinion ... any thought ? Thanks

Yes, technically he's right.You don't NEED one. But i believe if you install one, you'll use it, have cabin heat faster, but much more importantly, your engine will thank you with longer mileage.

Have you priced out oil changed yet? I hear it being North of $200. I priced it out at Mr LUBE last night and apparently they say it's only $120 which is pretty good seeing at its every 16,000 KM
@orckiller9110 жыл бұрын
Just learn to do it yourself and you can do it for about 75
@kitfoxflyer10 жыл бұрын
Not possible for 75$. Oil cost is more than that Really it not a big deal I do mine and cost about $160 and I do it when the indicator tells me and that at 16000 km. I just about ready to mine again in 2 weeks. This is oil change #4

Maybe not for where you are, but in the US, in my state you can do it for 75

Your EVIC said 16 l/100km. Why so bad? Is that normal for you?
@kitfoxflyer10 жыл бұрын

You can probably do the math in your head...can you tell me your M.P.G. for a US gallon? And is it a half ton 4x4? Thanks for the video. I've heard reports of 70 mpg in tiny diesels in Europe. Don't know the validity... but I'd buy a tiny diesel pickup which got that kind of mileage in a heartbeat. Stay warm. Summer is on its way. (eternal optimist)

Imperial gallon is about 11% larger than us Gal so if I get 27 mpg the us conversion would be 27 less 11% = about 24 mpg
