I am looking for a different gel as I found out that Eco styler is not made by a black owned company. I haven't used Aunt Jackie before, do you know if it contains alcohol? If it does, that is how it dried faster as I know the whole range of Eco styler products are Alcohol free.

ladeejojo 81 aunt Jackie’s does contain alcohol, but it’s the good alcohol. There’s a list of good alcohols and bad alcohol. Ikr I didn’t know there was good alcohol either 😆

I like how Aunt Jackie's gives consistent definition all the way down the strand. With Eco Styler I run into this problem of where it's always more frizzy and poofy at the roots and super duper defined at the ends, no matter how much care I take to make sure every strand is evenly saturated. Just makes my hair look thinner at the end than at the roots. I picked up AJ's today after years with Eco Styler and will be giving it a fair try. Maybe they can be mixed for the perfect results!

What would happen if you put the eco on top of the don't shrink? Have you tried that to get definition and elongation?
