I can’t thank you enough, beautiful, for taking the time to give us this video. My 15 year old sister’s hair is very similar to yours, and her hair had been matted up for months. I’ve recently realized that I needed to do more research on how to help her style her hair. We spent about 4 hours the other day de-tangling and conditioning, deep conditioning, and following the exact steps of your video. Her curls are poppin’ like I’ve never seen them pop in her whole life now! She’s legitimately hated her hair before and wanted to get a wig and would always say how much she liked my hair and wanted my hair, and that would break my heart. But she only didn’t like her hair because she didn’t know how to take care of it and I had been so ignorant thinking that she could just use my hair products for her own hair (I’m 3c I think). Ever since we followed your video she keeps saying how much she loves her hair now and is visibly more confident. I am tearing up just thinking about the difference. 4c hair is so so beautiful. Bless you, seriously. Subscribing to your channel now. 💜🙏🏾

I’m so glad your sister has you ❤️ You did something important for her. It’s very liberating when you can finally accept yourself or a part of yourself. It’s been years ago but throughout my childhood I went through my own journey of going from loathing my hair to accepting it and eventually loving it! Understanding how our hair works and knowing how to ‘tweak’ it really helps to accept it. You helped her with that. Your sister is lucky to have you!

@ Lilian Garcia- Try Curls Inc. Creme Brulee Curl Cream or Taliah Waajid Curly Cream. Do a twist out using these cremes. My sister and Mom both have 4C hair, and these products finally gave them the curls they wanted. Lasts about 3-4 days. Gels don't work on alot of low porosity 4C hair types and dries it out. Curly creams are better.

One thing I realize tap waters, shower waters dry hair same way they dry our skin😒😔. The water we use in our everyday living are so not treated, bad bad.
@fabiennevdk70453 жыл бұрын
You probably live in an area with hard water. The minerals in hard water such as magnesium and calcium deposit onto your hair, creating a film on your hair which will make it more difficult for moisture and products to penetrate your hair. As a result your hair dries out and becomes prone to breakage. These minerals can also clog the hair follicles in your scalp which could eventually lead to hair loss as well. But don’t worry, you can deal with that. Make sure that you use shampoos with chelating agents. Chelators bind with metal ions and minerals. Vinegar is also a chelating agent, so you could dilute vinegar and do an acid rinse once you’re done washing your hair. Your hair will become shiny as well. Just make sure you dilute the vinegar enough so the pH isn’t too low.
