I put a 150 watts solar panel on my van this week. In full sun now summer time,I get 50 watts out of it,my battery pack river pro, runs a small compressor fridge that draws when it runs 65 watt, Battery pack last for only 4 days till it's empty At night the fridge uses 25% of the battery pack

@@sosteve9113 Hi, that sounds nice, now is it mounted flat on the top or are you using a rack that tilts? I ask because I found that angle with solar is important as it makes a big difference with wattage. I also have a River Pro. Thanks for sharing your input too.

@@ReviewsandTech it is mounted on a diy rack not tilt towards the sun Instead of glued on the roof. I did this because of the airflow underneath the panel otherwise I would loose some watts trough the heat of the metal of the roof of the van. Parked In front of my driveway,aimed directly to the mid sun,that way I get the morning sun at 7 in the morning,12 o clock and evening sun Driveway isn't flat but uphill for approximately 7 degree towards the sun,this provides around 50% battery capacity.

I ordered 100 W 12 V panel, because that gives me 8.3 amps, per hour. At 100 watts and 18 volts your getting 5.55 amps. So you would stand better to gain 50% more power with a 12v. Panel then an 18v.

Did you notice after a few weeks it not going over 35watt?? In the beginning mine was going as high as 90 and now even on the hottest days without a cloud in the sky it will go to 35 sometimes 38???

What’s the highest watts you’ve gotten w these panels? Lot of reviews say it caps 65watts but seen some ppl say 85
