I'm not surprised. I have one of their solar panels which they use non-UV stable wire that completely degraded on a simple 12 volt battery maintainer panel only took about 18 months to make it unusable

Thanks for this content it really means a bunch to me and my life. I’m a poor construction worker and I work hard for the little I have and I almost bought this kit on Amazon making payments. I live on a boat and I want to get off grid. Sad to see so many companies praying on guys like me just trying to live. If I can ever get the money together I’ll be following your recommendations.

I'm still using the 4000 sungold low frequency 120/240 split phase and its not been constant use but still working great while I'm home. Only problem is I wish I'd bought a 6000 watt at 48 volts rather than 4000 at 24 volts

OMG "Born BROKE" -- Loving the followup video. I am (or was, - not much demand for it these days) a component-level servicer of consumer electronics since the late 1980's -- We used to have a saying for products like this: "They're "Born Broke...they're MADE THAT WAY -- it''s a real 'time saver'" -- IE, no need to confirm customer's "complaint" - just KNOW they're broke, treat them that way, and get started look for ways to repair, improve, etc.

It's the flip it and run manufacturers you got to avoid. I stick with Xijia SWI-POWER. 18+ years in the business of only power conversion equipment with manufacturing mostly in Hong Kong not some back water China alleys.

You're sure making me appreciate my Aims Power inverter charger and it's 30 pound transformer 😎😁. I finally figured out how to use the wind generator I got from your link, that was supposed to be 24 volts but they sent me a 12 volts one instead. I bought three 24 volts 100 amp hours lithium iron phosphate batteries ⚡ for $1683 from EnjoyBot. I put those, and four new 31 series deep cycle lead acid batteries together to run my 24 volts Aims Power inverter charger. Like this one, it's rated 2000 watts. Mine will do about 2100 before the overload light comes on. My inverter is pretty quiet, but it does have a four inch ball bearing fan in it. So I had a bunch of lead acid batteries left over, so I wired twelve of them in parallel for 12 volts. I hooked up my spare inverter ( It's an Ampeak 2000 w. mod sine) to those, and I am charging them with the wind generator. I just use the 12 volts side for resistance loads like the coffeemaker and electric blanket etc. I'll probably get one more lithium battery 🔋 before air conditioner season. That will give me 600 amp hours on the 24 volts side. And a thousand on the 12 v side. It's working great now. The wind generator just keeps the battery bank topped off. I've got five 28 inch blades and a hub from Hurricane Wind Power last year. I'm going to make a DC wind generator. They're called Stealth Storm and it said they're balanced for up to 144 MPH winds. I've got a half horsepower motor that puts out 79 volts at low RPM. I got sidetracked and I have been building a greenhouse on the side of the barn. All the materials have been free except for some screws and concrete. When I get it nicied up pretty well, I'll post a short video of it. I have one receptacle but I need a light out there. I've been plugging in a lamp. That " attempt at an inverter" you have there is a nightmare.👻💀🔋⚡🤔🤣. I always did like the smell of fresh baked bread 🍞🤤. I was thinking I would get another Epever tracer 40 amps charge controller for the 12 volts side and connect a few solar panels to it later on. It's the one with the fins, a 4215 BN. Mine has worked flawlessly since day one. I just thought it would be nicer if they matched. Good point about shipping. My inverter charger weighs 46 pounds. I got free shipping though. Well, thanks for making me feel good about my inverter charger.

You solve the 12 volt issue with a 12 volt to 29 volt charger like this one using the 30 amp level, s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DC0Used and putting a VSR 140 amp automatic relay in the system. I just added one 140 amp relay, takes power from my 12 volt when it sees 13.2 volts and higher and sends to my 12 to 43.8 volt LiFePO4 ( 36 volt system ) automatically then when the 12 volt system drops to 12.8 on my lead acid it disconnects. Real easy, and I just send 60% of my solar to the 12 volt since they love it.

Holy Cow!.. Just like cheap Chinese stereo equipment! Over rated.. I did get one of the 20A DC-DC chargers for my CB base station to use for my DC UPS. It works good with the E.W. 50A battery. But the charge controller gets pretty dang hot when recharging the battery when it gets low. So, I added a HUGE heatsink from a scrapped Onkyo stereo. The hole case of the RV DC-DC charger helps to sink heat away, but it runs more efficient when being cooled better. I added a N.O. thermal switch to a good 12V fan to bring air across the big heatsink I put to the whole bottom of the aluminum housing. So, yes, I added GREAT cooling to it, and it works great. So, I did augment... I use to be a home entertainment equipment repair apprentice for 1 1/2 yrs. So, I get the whole concept of keeping components within optimal operating temps. But, I did save money by buying what I did with using some of my time to augment with remnant materials. I have more time than budget.. lol

My friends of over 10 years in China are always complaining about American companies creating the most junk to sell back to Americans. On how it is a big talk there. These "crap brands" are started in the USA, by our own folks, lots of them. Then all made in China to dump on us. So you have to source very aware of the obvious now.

It's the price I warmed up to, not the tech. I knew if you waited a few years and got over the hype that the cost would drop 75% and it did. When people learn how like I have done for 2 years to connect LiFePO4 to Lead Acid then they can get best results of cost and amp ability.

I'm not surprised. I bought one of their well pumps and after a week it stopped working. I tried to exchange it under warranty and they gave me the runaround. I left bad reviews on their social media pages and they blocked me. I won't spend one more red cent on an Eco-Worthless product.

Purchased one of their all in one kits with 4 (195watt) panels, 3000w 60amp charge controller/inverter, and misc accessories. Been running with no issues for almost 24 months. Paired the controller/inverter with a Li Time 24v 200ah battery installed on a hand truck for portable generator and power outtage emergency purposes. You need to set any brand of solar hardware up as if it could cause a fire. That is why you place fuses and shut offs or circuit breakers, on your array before it connects to panel, and between charger/ inverter and battery. All brands have "duds" in my experience...not just budget brands. 🤷‍♂️

They blow out their 2 micro converting thyristors on the control panel boards without warning. They are used to monitor heat and respond to current bias on the outputs. Total crap inverters.

I like the 3200 cnswipower. I have only noticed the fan come on when pulling around 1500 watts or more. And it is very quiet. Since I put it in my trailer, I can actually hear the blower on my window unit run. I have noticed a ticking noise when it is on with no load. As soon as I put a load on it the noise stops. Not sure what it is. I will need to open it up and see if I can find it.
@JOHNDANIEL1

They have a search load system, the occasional ticking is voltage load holding in the system.

Another great video simply sharing the honest truth. Curious and confused about the "updated" SWIPOWER 3200. Is the newest update the single LCD screen, or the dual LED display? I can't seem to find the LCD model anywhere, all links lead to the dual LED model. I'm to the point where I'm ready to order, but of course want the latest model, especially with the lower static draw. BTW, I could almost smell the bread baking when you mentioned it...

WELL, Shy Na produced, Shy Na individual parts, so if one wants to DEPEND on such they better buy up plenty of the complete units and/or repair parts to KEEP ON THE SHELF, being IN the MFG industry and working for a major company that IMPORTS Generators from ONE plant in Shy Na I've seen the container doors open and there were 5 to 10 DIFFERENT U.S. name brands on the generators boxes BUT they ALL were produced under ONE roof in Shy Na

The large Swipower inverters need to move the display to a remote or onto the top so they can get more venting. There is room to put a few more slots even without moving the displays but doing both would increase airflow. The less restriction to airflow the quieter the airflow will be. If they get more venting it would act like a thermal chimney if it is mounted vertically, could reduce the need to turn on the fans even more.
@JOHNDANIEL1
@JOHNDANIEL1 10 ай бұрын
They have narrowed the intakes so the air speed increases to evac the inverter better and targets is on the main sources of heat in the new models.

@JOHDANIEL1 can you push Xijia Swipower to make a US all in one? Like a double wide based on their 3200W/6000W big inverters with 2 of the big fans. The tiny fans on Sungold 6500 is ridiculously loud. Or do you think it would be cheap and easy to convert an RV to run Euro single phase 240 volt appliances? Have you looked at Swipowers euro hybrids? How is the quality?
