@@garywheeler6903 It is a very rough square wave inverter. Not really a modified as claimed and about $150 over priced. Internal spanners for the DC are barely rated for 380 amps so not really capable safely of 5000 watts.

The SWI 6000 is very stable, new or old display style don't matter, all internals are 2023 versions now. I use 10 awg on the output terminals and 12 awg cord jumpers to the service box so the ability is fully used. They have them in USA warehouses so you can buy from Aliexpress s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEt4ns5 and get them in 5 days. From Amazon its about $20 more and about 10-15 days.

I bought the 2000W in Feb 2024 and bought the 3000W on March from AMZ because they had $70 off the reg price of $315, I could not pass that up on $245 for good 3000W inverter. Both of them work really well on my DIY Solar power station, the 2000W can even start my 1996 25 cu ft old fridge with large inrush current without problem. I really love the low standby power too, mine are measured out to be 0.589A at 13.30V. The problem that I have with the 3000W is that the label for L and N are not correct on the AC high current output terminal, if you measure the AC Voltage between the L of the NEMA 5-20R outlet and the L of the AC high current output terminal, it will show 120Vac which is not right, it should show 0Vac, same result when you measure between N of the AC high current output terminal and the N of the NEMA 5-20 outlets. Can you please verify if your has the same issue or not? Thanks! BTW, the AC Volt meter of both units are showing about 5Vac less than what my Fluke and my Kill-A-Watt show and which it will cause the Watt display on the unit to show less than what Kill-A-Watt shows.

Using a ohm meter you can identify the terminals to correspond with the plugs on the inverter. As all inverters you have actually 2 hots, not really a hot and common like utility voltage and so many do not understand without EARTH as part of the circuit you have to synthesize the common in a inverter. So what you read can be odd on them. You may have 60 volts on the common, but under load as load increases that drops fast to nothing. It's just how the inverter is able to get the loads started.

@@JOHNDANIEL1 I am talking about Voltage reading between L and L, the Ac output high current terminals has L, N, and G, same for the NEMA 5-20R, so the L of the AC output terminal should be connected to the same L of the NEMA 5-20R, which mean when you measure between L of the AC output terminal and the L of the NEMA 5-20R it should show 0 V, but in the 3000W unit it shows 120Vac. If you measure between L and L of the NEMA 5-20R it shows 0 Vac.

Ah, Someone likely mis labeled or labor swapped the wrong wires. Use your meter to identify then properly label that cover or spot to keep it straight. Some parts makers can't spell!

Very few will maintain voltage over 100 to 107 volts at full power. This one if you look at the actual reading on the Oscilloscope is still 113.5 at over 100% rating output. The total package, real power, real stable, and a CSL of over 75% ( 2300 watts constant before peak efficiency starts to drop ) which is exceeding and superior to things costing 3X as much. They sent me 2 for the work on the changes and a few dollars. First time anyone ever did that for my efforts.

If you need compact and portable the Erayak is perfect. But if your building in and want easier service and a bit higher surge ability get the SWI 3200. Both are built well. On price they are balanced. I like the smoother lines of the Erayak for mobile use, the SWI power for permanent mount.

The folks at Erayak listened to my info on changing to Fairchild and DSI chips so it has improved in a huge way at less then $4 per unit made now. As for AC units, I constantly hear how "efficient" those split units are, to a point It's obscene! They all lie about it. Saying a Split Unit is efficient is like saying towing a trailer increases fuel economy by 20%! LOL!!! Truth is a window unit like the TOSOT I have done videos on is over 35% more efficient than the best split AC unit made of similar BTU. And has less cost by over 60% to buy and install. My making mine into a Through the wall unit is so easy I just can't see the justice of believing the "sellers of Split Unit Lies" Careful buying those Split Units, they are allowed to totally discount the losses in running 2 separate blowers and it's extensive tubing losses, expansion re-liquification losses into sales for false ratings. Fact is, a Pioneer or MrCool 890 total watts for a 9,000 btu split that is really only 7400 real BTU is not more efficient than 530 watts for my 8,000 btu thats really 8,000 btu.

Just received my SWI power inverter with 24 volt dc input and 240 AC output in the 3200 watt double stack model you suggested. What lithium batteries would you recommend I use to charge my 1064 amp hour forklift battery overnight as you have showed in the past ?

I would recommend the most basic battery value of 200ah @ 24 volt for that up to 300AH @ 24 volt. Solution is basically a pair of 12 volt 230 AH by TIME USB amzn.to/3TifHmN is what I would use. They tend to have the least problematic BMS in them and heavier boards for any use, basically starter grade and they also cost less. Connecting 2 into 24 volt is more stable than a single 24 volt 230-250 AH and easier to adapt if you ever have to DOWN VOLT your system due to some possible battery fails in the future. As for a VSR to connect both sets, not may are 24 volt and for high draw so use the 12/24 EHDIS 250 amp model, s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEyr8Hb When you get your LiFePO4 voltage lead acid support system made, be sure to charge your LiFePO4 to 75% then only connect the VSR up when your lead acid and the LiFePO4 both match voltage so they start on even playing field. After that they will self regulate keeping your fork lift battery up in higher voltage which will reduce water loss and extend life a lot. Use 4 awg on the VSR to battery(s) with a 150 amp fuse breaker inline from the Lithium side.

You can build the equivalent of a $3000 Power Station for about half price yourself. Use a solar controller that is all chemistry user settable like the LiTime 60 amp shrsl.com/4giwo , BUT Avoid like a Feminist Mother-in-law those California based Grade B fake Grade A dumping stores of Super Batt, Small Den, Litkola, Varicore, and stick with the same supplier for Battery Brokers and SFK uses at 30% less like Tewaycell.

@@massa-blasta Something isn't right with that Newtipower battery, they have a 30% price drop in the last 30 days for the 500ah and thats a sign results on it are not up to par. With it having the small terminal face 13mm on its bolts I would say the 250 amp flow is very doubtful. Likely gets fire hot trying to reach that output. And a 250 AH cell is what you have to have to make 2X into 500 AH is not a common size. 212, 230, 242, 260, 280, 304 AH is common, 250 is not. You can not really get the 260 AH into a battery box like that one, but you can get the 242 in it. So I would be already doubtful you'll get a real 500AH from it. The dead give away is 87 lbs, thats impossible to get 500ah from, I would say using 8 of the 212 would be 85 lbs total ( 74 lbs for cells, 2 lbs for BMS, 9 lbs for box ) so *AVOID IT* Even if it is using round cells, the max for the weight is under 410 ah. The largest consumer grade single cell made is 324 AH and is HUGE and would not work in a 8 case.
