It looks like you could have kept the upper shutters. Some sites list this intercooler as being able to keep the shutters, but there was no hope for keeping the bottom ones. Interesting video.

Second rodeo for this intercooler. The arm which links the upper and lower portions does not clear the new cooler. Believe me, it was my intent to, as we catch minus 40 here in the winter. Shutters are a nice warmup enhancer.

Hey this 4 bolts you put at the bottom of the intercooler are wrong. You put the 4 small rubber stand offs down there between the car and intercooler. I did the same thing you did and had to redo it 😩

Yeah I redid it off camera. They must have included them before some sort of revision happened.
