S550 Ecoboost Racing Charge Pipes Unbox, Install, & Demo

In this first documented installment of Ryans 2016 Ford Mustang Ecoboost we will be adding onto his race intercooler setup with aluminum charge pipes. These parts are designed to fit better onto the intercooler to increase cooling while removing the risk of pipes falling off due to poor fitment. these metal parts are a massive upgrade as they don't expand under high boost like the factory ones could.

I have a 23 eco. Im putting on my race cooler this saturday. I have the CVFab race cooler, Charge pipes, Turbo smart raceport with boost reference adapter, along with gutted pcv and the UPR DVCC all going on at the same time.

Not a nos Port.. it's for methanol/water injection 😊

keep up the vids, good content, just installed the intercooler & charge pipes. Honestly sucked, not your install, but the process in general, & the pipe fitments. Had to remove bumper and grill same as you. The cups for the bottom of intercooler was difficulty to mount and fit right, without being angled or tight. I also installed a catch can, & a c&l blow off valve during the process. Least you have a car port that’s shaded, my neck got burned up

Damm, how did you get the cold side on? 💀 I am struggling with that part for some reason, it almost feels like the pipe is too short and i cant get it aligned properly

Did you replace the intercooler while u were under there?

I replaced the intercooler to a CVFab Race previously, I would definitely recommend replacing both intercooler and charge pipes at the same time as it makes it much easier since the stock pipes don't fit well on some aftermarket intercoolers.

Man I can’t seem to get the pipes to fit, every time I try by the throttle body the fit isn’t lined correctly
