Ecoflow Blade Fail!

I did not have good luck with the EcoFlow Blade. I purchased it after watching many other channels that had EcoFlow provide the units to them. This unit was purchased by me. #ecoflow #ecoflowfail #roboticlawnmower #luba

Wow. Your yard is relatively flat and open compared to mine, yet you describe the same issues I'm facing. When I define perimeter and boundaries using manual control, the blade has no difficulty with my terrain. But once it tries to mow it gets out of step, basically the saved boundaries become misaligned with the yard causing it to get confused looking at a tree I marked in the boundary, or even travel into the street. I can't imagine letting this operate without me policing it. I'm awaiting a response from EcoFlow, but it's looking like a return is near, I'm sad to say. I'll update this if resolved, and keep watching for your own update. Good luck!

This is a very good review for people to see. The money you have to spend on these robotic mowers. It’s very obvious they’re not worth the money you have to pay for them.

The ecoflow was terrible. I have videos of the Luba 3000 and it is much much better.

Before you send it back, do you mind doing another quick video showing your sky coverage, your base and RTK placement? Mine arrives Monday and after seeing how flat and open your yard is, it has me wondering if I should just keep it boxed up and return it without even bothering to try it. I've heard others say you need the RTK setup facing the southern sky for the best GPS reception, is that how yours is set up? Do you plan to purchase another autonomous mower, Husqvarna, Worx Vision, Luba or another? Thanks!

Yeah I can shoot another video. I am not sure if I will purchase another one....... the app says I have over 90% GPS signal where they are placed.

For what it’s worth, the unreleased Worx Landroid mowers will use vision to make a 3D map of the yard but I believe the mower will still follow their “algorithmic” mowing pattern of aimlessly roaming one’s yard. I have a Landroid WR155 and it leaves little to be desired.

Mine too, in one specific spot, shows signs of misaligning the learned map. It's also a possibility that the Blade had a poor GPS signal while creating the map, and the learned map boundary isn't accurate. In my case, my patio is 2 inches higher than my grass level. My map doesn't include any part of the patio. However, there is about a 10 foot section of patio that when the Blade approaches, it butts into my patio and sits and digs holes with the rear wheels turning. It will change the angle slightly and repeat. To do a 180 degree turn takes about 2-3 minutes in that one specific area. I am guessing that the patio is too low to register as an obstacle but too high for the mower to traverse. It still continues on, it just takes a long time. My biggest problem though, is grass getting on the mowers charging squares. This routinely requires me to manually clean the plates for charging to continue.

the ecoflow blade needs a few improvements such as wider cut width with actual mower blade, all wheel drive, able to change cutting directions, and better charge connectors

Yes, the biggest issue I think is the front wheels. Mine would wander while it mowed. It did have a hard time charging a couple of times as well.
