The ideal setup would be to have the battery power station in EPS mode (emergency power supply) so that the sump pump gets line power when it exists and battery power when there is a power outage (no line power). That way, if you're not home when the power goes it, you won't have to worry (as much) about your sump pump running. I'd like to see a test that ensures a power station like the Delta Pro does indeed work in this fashion with a sump pump. The smaller, lower wattage power stations apparently can't handle the start-up power required by a sump and won't work in UPS/EPS mode, but I think the Delta Pro ~should~ work.

Thanks, great information! I want to do this for my sump pump. Was considering Bluetti or Sec American back up battery.

I don't recommend brands. Do whatever works best for you, just always get more power capability than you think you need. The last thing you want, is to spend money on something that isn't enough for what you need.

Thanks for the video. How much you spent on that power station and will it automatically start when power outage?

It won't automatically start in a power outage unless you wire it up to do so. I got this unit on Black Friday. I think I got this unit, along with solar panels, and a river mini unit for about $4k

Whats the HP power of your sum pump?

I'm fairly certain it's a 1/2 HP, but I will check and verify soon.
