You gott anything without the Bluetooth Internet of bodies connection and the Internet of things don't really want to be connected to 5g streetlights 5g masts and mesh network that attaches to everyone else's phones and devices that have bluetooth WiFi and Lifi and that goes onto the global information grid ????

I have two of the older Delta systems. I use them for remote power as I am on a ranch. However, the BT always ON is a show stopper for me as I need to operate without any RFI. Two suggestions: 1) ensure ALL WiFi, BT, or any other wireless can be turned off. 2) Add a wired connection (e.g. USB) that can be connected between the EF unit and a controller, such as an tablet. Great products.

It's in the manual for the delta 2 max. From what I remember, charge to 50%. Store. Every 6 months charge to full, discharge all the way, charge to 50%. Store. If you have an NCM battery it is likely to be different.

River 2 max user here! Bought the unit for our RV, love it! The only issue is that my whole vehicle is 12v, right now I draw all of the power using the 10a dc port. The only thing that’s missing is a bigger dc output. Delta 2 max would be a no-brainer if it had more than 20a dc out (this way I could power the fridge and the lights simultaneously)

My Delta 2 Max is great. Using it along with an additional battery and the dual fuel generator for power on a construction site. Soon to have solar panels as well. I would like to see a detailed walk-through of all the programmable features on the new app, explaining everything in detail and what the limitations are. Automated charging/discharging times etc. the brief explanations in the app don’t go into much detail.

I am new to this I am building a 600 sq ft cabin off grid which will have propane stove, propane water heater, more than likely a propane refrigerator. For AC I will run LED lights mostly the 40 watt which on uses like 4 watts my whole cabin has only 6 lights. I will want to use a small microwave, fan on my wood heating stove, charge my phone & tablet. The main thing I need is air conditioning in the summer I want to use a window unit around 8k btu, I just bought a 5000 watt gas generator inverter duel fuel. Would the Delta 2 Max unit be a good fit to what I want to do?

Hi, Delta 2 Max supports daisy-chain to get more capacity on a single unit; however, it only supports 2 identical models and requires an AC Cord connection. It is not recommended to daisy-chain the RIVER to Delta 2 Max. If you want an on-the-go power station for camping, I recommend River Max, River 2 Max, River Pro, and River 2 Pro, which are also good to go with an extra battery.

What is the official temp ratings for the LFP and NMC products? I’ve received different answers from the manuals, customer service, and the app FAQ. I’ve read LFP handle high heat better, but the manual on my River Pro says it’s peak temp is 140F. On the app it says the River Pro is 113F. Using it in a vehicle year round in Arizona.

Thank you for a great breakdown review. I have a question about cooling the unit. On the delta 2 max 2 fans are running from left to right. however on the delta 2 max extra batt, there is one area in the back for cooling. I am trying to direct a fan to cool it down, but i don't know where to direct it towards exactly. Not wanting to work against the internal design air flow, can you show a break down, or explain where should i point my fan towards? Does ot matter at all? Thank you in advance. M

Hi there, here are my suggestions: 1. The extra battery of the Delta 2 Max would not generate much heat so there's not too much to worry about. 2. The extra battery does not have a power stage driver inside therefore, it would not generate too much heat. If you want to cool it, you can put a device in the heat dissipation vent to draw out the heat air inside. Hope this can help!

Wondering if fushing cooler air into it with a small fan might be better then trying to pull hot air out without the ability to replace it.. Hi! The extra battery does not have fans and the battery does not generate much heat. You can directly take a fan to the back of the port to exhaust the hot air, just keep a little distance appropriately. Delta 2 Max has four fans inside, 2 suction, and 2 exhaust. Hope this helps!

Hi there, do you mean the disconnection of WIFI or Bluetooth? If it is WIFI, does it reconnect immediately after disconnecting? Or is the App on and the Delta 2 is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting over and over again? Below are my suggestions: 1. Try switch to another WIFI, for instance, open a 2.4GHz hotspot with another cell phone. 2. Reinstall App, re-link and reconnect. If your firmware is not the latest, please upgrade the firmware first.

The missing feature: a nominally 12v D.C. output capable of at least 20amps, preferably 30-40 amps, using a reliable connector like an XT60. The expansion battery missing feature: Independent charging. The 2 Max with 1000 watts of solar input cannot effectively charge itself and two expansion batteries while being used. If each battery also had the ability to accept 1000 watts or at least 500 watts of solar then additional panels could be used to replenish the up to 6kwh per day. Perhaps this could be an accessory that plugs into the expansion battery or the expansion port on the Delta 2 Max. Expansion battery high want feature: D.C. outputs, at least 12v nominal with 20 amp to 40 amp capability. USB would be nice, but 12v to USB are readily available if the battery could supply the 12v. Could this be an accessory that plugs into the battery port?

The only change I'd suggest is having Anderson Powerpole available as an option, for DC output, or solar panel connection. These connectors are extremely durable and standard for high current DC applications. They're not as compact as the existing XT60, but won't loosen up over time or accidentally disconnect easily.

Hi, the AC charging is only one of the ways to charge the battery, just in case a power outage is gonna land and you might not have enough time to charge it via solar panels. Pairing it together with solar panels can definitely help you save energy and depend less on the grid.

Hi there, do you mean you want to install it between the solar panel and the Delta 2 Max? Normally it is not necessary as the Delta 2 Max has overcurrent and overcharge protection. If you want to install an RSD or fuse for safety, you can use a 23/24Amp. We do not have any recommendations on the surge protection device. Please note that do not exceed the maximum solar input current of the delta 2 max.

Are you sure your turning the unit completely off? You have to press and hold the power button for a few seconds b4 it turns off. You will see off appear on the screen when it's shutting down. If you just press and release the power button it just puts it in a sleep mode.

I have the delta 2 max not impressed at all. It powers my Tiny house and I leave it plugged in all the time from the house. It alwasy has full charge. It struggles with a 400 watt heater and lights 100 watt total. I would buy a bigger one however Im not impressed with the max 2.

I see its a 1500 watt heater on high we run on low. You can the output on the MAX2 is only at 600w on low so it should run run no problem. I bought the eco flow portable ac/heat unit that wouldn't heat a bathroom. I have a 200sqft room very small. It keeps it has 75 in summer.

Charging a Tesla not much of a option. A Tesla gets about 2 to 5 miles per Kilowatt. Charging Tesla with Delta 2 Max, will only get you four to ten miles of range. That would only be of use if a Tesla ran out of power a few miles from a charging station and you needed a boost to get there. If Delta 2 Max was connected to solar while charging Tesla, it would take a few weeks to fully charge vechicle. To charge a Tesla, I think one would need two Delta Pros with at least two extra batteries, and full solar input to even to begin thinking about charging a Tesla with Ecoflow batteries.
