After becoming a parent, I wanted something creative and flexible to do during nap time. I started with a Crafted Threads design bundle, ordered a Cricut from Amazon, and made parent-themed shirts just for fun. Turns out, other parents LOVE custom t-shirts! Selling them at community meet-ups has been an amazing way to connect with others and make some extra money on the side. Highly recommend this setup!

If they were that untouched with that much money to make, why aren’t you doing it yourself?
@Liz-c7dАй бұрын
She didn't say who owned those store. Maybe they're hers. 🙄 Honestly, why do people post something like the above showing they have no idea about the background and experience of the creator?
@Buttonbasher09Ай бұрын
@ well that would make even less sense, wouldn’t it? Highlight untouched niches they sell in so it gives them more competition?? I’m not sure you thought that through before typing it out
@Liz-c7dАй бұрын
@@Buttonbasher09 Ok, you don't understand how this works at all. If a YT creator has a channel that is geared towards helping others become successful, they are not concerned about competition. They've already made their six or seven figures. Those with successful Etsy stores will always have priority in the Etsy algorhythm. Their store has been proven to sell so their products are shown first in search. The one thing that may be concerning is exact design copycats but there's not much you can do about that. There are thousands of stores selling the same types of products. Why sell anything then?
@itssophsophАй бұрын
Sharing untouched niches doesn’t necessarily mean she isn’t taking advantage of them herself. Educators and creators often monetize their expertise by teaching others instead of solely relying on running their own stores. It’s possible she’s already successful in these niches and sees value in helping others succeed too, creating an additional income stream through her content.

I’m interested in making a bunch of tools for an app aimed at Etsy sellers and potential Etsy sellers in the digital space. For instance an app that takes an image created by a seller for wall art, and at the click of a button (or two), creates all the correctly sized images for listing on the platform. Each digital niche is an opportunity to add processes to an app that could help people create better quality products faster. Think game generators for pre-school products, a sewing pattern CAD that actually exports the pattern in correctly sized PDFs, embroidery pattern resizer, wedding invitation website generator. Instructions template for crochet and/or any other type of pattern or plan creator. Do you think this might be a good idea?

Hi Hannah, your videos are so informative and I have been thinking about really focusing and pushing my Etsy store to the next level. My current store that I opened back in 2020 has about 280 sales with 30, 5 star reviews but i feel like my store is not cohesive. Should I A: rebrand my current store since i already have "Etsy street cred" with the 5 star reviews and years already on etsy or B: start a new store with my new targeted niche?

How do you find a manufacturer? Anyone... thank you. I like to make my etsy products myself. But for my day job I was wishing I could find a few things to add. Or I will prolly end up making it myself too since I love making things. I just realized my photos need a lot of work. Thank you for this Hannah, I learn so so much from each video. 💖💖💖

Hey Hannah! Thanks for this info. Do you recommend someone to start their shop first, and then handle all the legal aspects once you start making a profit (LLC, EIN, sellers license)? Or do you recommend we get all the legal stuff handled before opening a business?

I wanted to ask that in case of pod , how do prontify take their cost of making the product for my etsy shop. Do they cut automatically after a product is ordered by a customer or is it, I have to pay them beforehand?

You only pay after it sells and billed via Printify

Hi Hannah! I have been watching lots of your videos. Do you sell to the EU? Printify is telling me that if I do, I must comply with GPSR. To comply with GPSR in the EU, merchants must provide their name, business name or trademark, contact details (postal and email), and product safety information, including instructions and warnings. What do you think about this?
@EcomHannah18 күн бұрын
Hey, I am not based in EU.. not really sure

It's a pain, you basically need a representative in the country you want to sell for. Easiest thing to do is not sell to other countries anymore. Sad as been doing this 4 years now and get regular sales abroad.

Hello, I have a question about Etsy listings. In a KZbin video, I saw that when you list new items from Printify, you can make changes on Etsy, like updating the mockups, and select the partner you work with. However, I can’t see this option, even though I’ve added my partner's name. Is this a new update, or am I missing something?

Was it for selling intangibles? I had my shop's listings deleted. Even though all of my reviews are five star. They left the bigger sellers alone 🤷♀️ I guess because they make a lot of the larger shops and are confident that they sell good products, but for newer sellers , Etsy doesn't have that confidence about us
@TheAstroWitchLux14 күн бұрын
And I can't put the listings back up even if I rewrite them.

Hi, Hannah! Question: Last 30 days: Ads budget $1000/day (spend ~$250/day), ROAS 3.84, TaCOS 16.5%. Q4 has been awesome, but do I keep this budget up as we move into January? Can this success translate to slower periods with an evergreen niche?
@EcomHannah19 күн бұрын
Yes it should, turn off seasonal listings, PPC is pay per click so your spend is proportional to the amount of ppl on etsy for the time, if the rush slows down so does your spend, you do not want to lower it :]

Teachers LOVE a good t-shirt, and I realized I could turn that into a side gig. I used Crafted Threads for hilarious teacher-themed designs, grabbed a Cricut printer off Amazon, and started selling them to colleagues. It began as a joke, but now I’m selling to teachers across the district and even funding classroom supplies with the profits. If you're in education, this is a fantastic side hustle!
