There is nothing more interesting than hearing two middle aged Bengali men discuss on an obscure topic and draw conclusions from that discussions.

Beautiful. We need this kind of culture in India. No nonsense. Just educated, well - mannered people discussing how world works. Please talk about alchemy, esoterica and iron pillar. We need aesthetic standard in our country.

Fascinating, just fascinating!! I curiously wandered into this clip, used to as I was to just short "youtubey" superfluous cr**, but was amazed to witness not only on a very engrossing account of the evolution of writing technology, layers of modern Indian history (even the very background of our own renaissance) and pointers on the economic policies of how it all happened, besides an exhilarating intellectual exchange between mentor and mentee!! This episode of the Sutra deserves thunderous applause, even a standing ovation!!!!!!!

A very different kind of Economic Sutra, and so utterly enjoyable. Knowledge of Mr. Debroy is astounding. I must say that though I love to listen to Mr. Sanyal, I find most of his interviewees on Economic Sutra programme very boring. This was by far the most enjoyable conversations in this series.

I hope in due course most of our companies starting naming themselves and their products from Sanskrit and bharatiya itihaasa. As the oldest civilization we owe this to ourselves.
