I have listened to this loads of times and then listened to the recording and they arent the same. The recording and the live versions don't have the 0 - 2 before the 3 - 2- 0, which is making it sound wrong. Sorry, to be picking, but I play this song live at nearly every gig, and now I can't unhear those extra notes. That said, love your videos and teaching style. Cheers

The 0-2 is deffo in all the recordings and live I've heard. 100%. If you slow the speed down it's unmistakable.🤘🏼🎸👂🏼

@@ianfoster5253 SO I have listened to loads of the live performances on youtube land, slowed then down, and even watched what bryan plays in slow mo... There is no extra notes on any of them. Also, all the other lessons on YT don't play it. Finally adding those extra notes seems to throw the timing out as well. Just my thoughts..

@@tobywan12 I'm actually gonna change what I see and hear. It's a 2-0. Check out the "Bryan Adams medley.The late late show RTE1" I'm sure he's playing it. 👍🏼

@@ianfoster5253 You know I think youre right on this. It is actually round the other way isn't it... Its a 2 - 0 which flows and sounds better into the 3 - 2 - 0!!

Chuck the capo. Nobody wants to deal with that.

Why would you remove the capo? It puts you in the correct key for the song!
@HazeOfWhearyWater3 күн бұрын
@@kirkleesguitarschool It's a PIA for your beginning students to deal with. Just teach it without. It's a very basic song. Clearly for beginners. Nobody can force you to do anything, obviously.
