I think I nailed the 20 marker and 15 marker but found the 10 marker on rational behavior a bit difficult as I struggled to link it to the case study or find an appropriate diagram and may have evaluated it wrong. I should still get 6/6 for the KAA though and hopefully 1 or 2 out of 4 for the EV though so 7/8 out of 10 is decent. Section A was pretty straightforward and I got the calculations right, one question was a bit trickier though I thought, definition of a base year which we hadn't covered and a 3 marker on how the price mechanism removes excess supply. Everyone I spoke to seemed to get a different answer to each other- I wrote about signalling, incentive and market forces so I hope that's right? How about yours?

oh mate I ran out of time bad. Evaluation for the 20 marker was spot on, caluclations were probz right. but the 15 marker and 10 were quite bad. Was really hard to link to the case study I thought

Dan is it 3 marks for knowledge or 4? Check 1:24 You say 3 marks but the board says 4 marks and it adds up to 20 marks on the board.

Hi, i'm taking my micro edexcel economics paper tomorrow but i'm still very nervous. When analyzing longer mark questions in micro, if you chose to mention benefits to society such as higher standards of living, do you have to link it back to citzens being potential workers for the specific market you are asked about? In other words, how 'micro' do you have to be?

Could you please explain to me what this kind of evaluation is, last year i did AQA, and an evaluation was used as what you mentioned in your 'how to do your evaluation point' video, however you mentioned that the evaluation (in the 20 marker) is infact the other side of the argument, aswell as the evaluation? Could you please explain how this works. Would i say, i don't think this (random example) cross rail train should be build because (KAA) points, AND THEN use the evaluation to talk about my previous point? I don't understand, get back to me, thank you!!

Hi I was watching this video again and I was wondering why the 20 marker KAA is worth more than the 15 marker when it's the same KAA structure?

There aren't any 20 markers in Edexcel AS. There's a 30 marker in Macro and 14 Marker for Micro. Is this for the new spec?

Sounds like you're still on the old spec mate. 20 markers are the new spec.
