biggest problem with air is heat . use a powerhead they stay cool so no heat plus all most zero noise . i use marineland 195 gallon pump in bottom of 7 gallon bucket . at years and counting !
@John336NLT6 жыл бұрын
It will power 4 of those 4 inch stones and it will power 6 but I notice with mine that there was a drop in air production with 6stones

I use Tetra Whisper pumps to avoid the noise problem.

@@KarmaElectronics. For this electric magnetic pump, use the GFI instead of plugging it in in and out because the GFI will stop the current
@user-rx7th9hr4l Жыл бұрын
the noise sounds annoying for inside the house, can you try make it quiet? Also do you know how much electricity it uses per year?

Great video! Can you help me out , what’s the size of that small tube that connects to the pump and the other piece ? Thanks in advance

Seems like there must be a better quality one perhaps? Quieter? New to this size of pump game...
@mirola734 жыл бұрын
One factory that seems to be making these with everyone sticking their own fantasy brand on, or dozens of factories that make the same design pump. In just a few minutes seen 4 different brands, but they're all the same pump.

I believe the booklet you opened stated it does have a piston. How has this worked for you? Has it held up good?.
@KarmaElectronics.2 жыл бұрын
failed long ago. just got louder and louder
@flicksby39302 жыл бұрын
Gonna be a pass for me then. The EcoPlus ones were supposed to be better but they look identical which means the same people prolly make both

am interested to hear how its holding up since this video was posted in 2018... :)

You need to test it in a deeper water to see how much pressure it can give.

Others used fan to cool it. I’m doing the same thing. If you keep it cool. It’ll last for sure

Yep, mine burnt out and when I went to touch it it blistered me. The next one I will rig a fan to blow on it for sure.

@@IntegraGSR5 It's been awhlile since this post was uploaded but I just got mine, only runs for 3-4 minutes then cuts out. When rested for about 30 minutes the pump starts again to cut out after 3 minutes again. Will this be because of overheating? And will a fan, to cool it, remedy the issue?
@IntegraGSR55 жыл бұрын
ad schellekens yes. It’s overheating. Mine still running good after 6 months. I’m using 120v 4 inch desk fan.

Just gor a 32 watt and it's to damn noisy. Might have to build a suppression box.
@mackattack86274 жыл бұрын
Simply just add a 24" tube to the air inlet and it's super quiet

You think putting it in a box would quiet it down? Things louder then my fricken compressor lol
