ECS Masters - Gordon E. Moore

Intel co-founder, Gordon E. Moore, is famous for the development of Moore’s law - the discovery that the number of transistors on a silicon chip would double every two years. Moore is a long-time member of ECS and has given two plenary talk at Society meetings.
He was interviewed in October 2016 be ECS Executive Director, Roque Calvo in Hawaii.

As a young accountant at Intel in 1983 I can remember when Gordon would drive his Volkswagen to work. He had a cubicle of modular furniture like the rest of us, albeit, much larger.
