The afr's for the lambda target numbers are multiplied by perfect afr ratio per fuel type to see what the afr goal to change to will be. example: 0.91(lambda target) * 14.7( standard perfect AFR ratio for petrol/gasoline) = 13.38(lambda target AFR goal ) Petrol 14.7: 1 Diesel 14.6: 1 methanol 6.4: 1 Ethanol 9: 1 LPG 15.5: 1 E85 9.7:1

My VE table doesn't go over 85 in any of the cells but the car makes 550hp with 24psi of boost and good AFRs... is this something I need to remedy?

Interesting video, what if your lamba target table isn't set, but your VE table is set? How would one go about setting up lamba target. I'm getting a slight lean issue at cruising speeds. But the rest of the tune is good. Thanks!

If your using ecu master go into your lambda target table and set it up how you want. There’s examples on ecu masters website. Then enable ego correction. It will then trim fuel all the time.

Your suppose to setup the lambda target table first and that will be the guide that lets you know how far off your VE table cells are from getting you to your desired afr

how do you change the ve table ? mines tps% on bottom and map on the right where as urs is map on bottom and rpm on right

What’s your review on the ecu master? I had an issue where my emu classic on my 92 sc300 would have my injectors firing with the ignition at the on position which would cause my engine to flood. Doesn’t do that with my stock ecu.

So far I have not had those issues. I feel it’s a good ecu and quite capable for the money.

that sounds like the prime pulse at start up. I would have to assume there are settings for that.

@@fox-body oh ok, what’s weird is that the first couple start ups were fine but then out of nowhere it brought up the issue where the injectors were stuck open with the ignition at the on position so I switched it back out.
