I love how Ed has become more outspoken about his faith. I never really picked up on that before the unfortunate passing of Rob "Rabbit" Pitts. I know something like that can be pollarizing these days and you run the risk of alienating a large segment of your viewers. So it takes bravery to do that, and a lot of what he said in this video boils down to bravery.

This is fantastic advice, Ed, because it's SCALEABLE. My net worth and your net worth are indescribably different, but we acquire our cars the same way and most of the advice you graciously shared can be applied no matter the cost or value. My latest acquisition is a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP Coupe with a 6 speed manual transmission. Supposedly 1 of only 200 coupes to have a manual transmission. Not quite like having a gated manual Murcielago but still rare and fun. 240 HP, 2 doors, and 3 pedals is enough car for anyone. I bought it salvaged and repaired it with a different salvaged G6 sedan. I'll be in a 1 of 200 car for under $1000 in total investment. I bought an extremely rare car that NOBODY else knows or cares about from a location with a limited audience. But it sure is cool to me, and it was the ONLY way for me to justify owning a fun car in my financial situation. It also feels nice knowing that it would have probably been crushed had I not saved it.

Rabbit really showed that anyone can be found worthy at the last hour of the day, but gaining eternity. I found Ed standing by a friend until the end, a true Christian. My uncle accepted Christ the day he died, and you could feel it around you. He was an atheist his whole life, but asked for the family Bible i now have, was baptised, and died in peace. My cousin watched her dad fearing death, but he would not repent, nor accept Christ as his saviour, he did not die peacefully, even though he had time. I nearly died from an accident where i cut a major artery, and even the ambulance getting to me was a miracle. I felt my body shutting down, so i prayed and asked for forgiveness of my sins, already believing, but not living it. The ambulance radioed in that he didn't think this one was gonna make it. I was fortunate a vascular surgeon had just finished surgery to take me in. I was given four litres of blood through dialysis, and they cut out a vein to repair the artery. They were astounded that my kidneys came back to full function with no other issue's. I was blessed to change and live my life right. I ask for wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, which though not worthy i have seen. Revelation Now, that was a guy i was led to with thing's that will blow your mind on his link in his video's to the web library. I can not out right say the channel because it's censored, ask yourself why. G-d bless.

I personally prefer to think of my interactions with the world in terms of good morals rather than religious dogma, but I do admire your way of approaching business. Honestly, I'm not certain these rules can truly work without this great personality trait of yours, which I've seen in most very successful people I know, and that I try to foster myself. It's not easy to explain clearly, but once you've seen it enough, it's obvious... You approach business dealings the same way you approach a newcomer to your Church: with openness and honesty in hope they reciprocate. Then set boundaries and wait for them to accept or work towards moving them. Every CEO I've sat across from did the same thing. (Not social media-type CEOs, actual $500M+ business leaders)

Amazing video! I support every word in it! Several months ago I ended my very successful IT career in order to do something more. I had enough to make my project cars, live without any worries about how I spent, etc. But now I want to do something better! I want to change the world for good and I am sure God will back me up if I am hustling enough to do it. Over the past couple of years I was working in the background on a project where we can cheaply obtain Hydrogen while cleaning the environment + producing fully carbon - neutral fuels like petrol, diesel, methanol, ammonia. I want to save our passion for the cars we love by beating these illogical green deals in their own game while preserving our planet. You can find my organisation, it's called Bright Hydro Future.

Don't do things that would increase your chances of getting arrested (no DUIs, no drugs, crimes, etc) Don't do things that would decrease your chances of future financial success (wasting money, etc). Tithing? Nah! Charity? Nah! Allocating 10% of your profits to actually solve other people's root problems and truly change their lives? YES! It's better to teach someone how to fish and solve the problem, than to have to feed them a fish every day and keep them in the same situation. Of course there are exceptions and nuances, but it's a good start.
@paulbenoit6913
@paulbenoit6913 20 сағат бұрын
Tithing and charity are often used to do exactly what you have described about true change. I don't give to charities that don't have that as their goal. We should certainly not give to organizations that don't have goals that encompass that belief.
