Ed Byrne at Chorley Theatre 4th November 2021 Every now and then you are lucky enough to see something special We have seen lots and lots of comedy shows but truthfully Ed Byrne tonight was as good as anything I have ever seen. Sides ache from laughing and I think I upset several people around us by laughing so much. Non stop joke after joke and hard working. A man totally skilled in what he does The funniest thing I have seen for years. "Why are you watching it then" Why do people always ask this like its a strong comeback? Its not... its pretty much phenomenally dumb because have you never heard of "trying new things"? Or "seeing what all the fuss is about"? Or "critical analysis"? Or "studying the competition"? But nah, it's a video of stand up comedy so the only reason anyone would ever view the video is because they're laughing along with the crowd like some kind of long-distance muppet with 2 modes of operation. 🙄 You know, sometimes I'll go to videos specifically because I expect people to be going mental at each other over nothing in the comments? I go purely to mock/belittle the intelligence of people who force their opinions on everyone as fact, despite refusing to educate themselves and being generally unaware how naive or misleading they're being. I call it bug dusting and it's very cathartic for me as well as usually either educational or insightful for anyone that's not "too good" for engaging in dialogue or reading. "wHy aRE YoU hErE ThEN?" 🤤
